Yes you can change your FS skills, but like they've said it would be best to have the FS XP stored. And I believe you can only add or drop FS skills prior to becoming a Padawan. I believe once you reach that level you can no longer adjust your FS skills. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once you're Padawan, you cannot drop below 24 skill points invested in FS skills (24 boxes, 6 branches filled to tier 4). If you try to drop below 24 skill points in FS skills (or not have 6 tier 4 boxes filled), you won't be able to.
You'd have to train up the new branch you want (so 28 skill points invested in FS skills) and then drop the branch you didn't want(back to 24 skill points, 6 tier 4 boxes filled).

I already have ranged defence, melee defence and melee speed. I'm a TKM and and have no use for ranged accuracy and speed. Neither will jedi. But I don't want to wait an additional 2 phases to unlock vehicle control and survival which would be more useful. So if I go ahead and train in ranged accuracy and ranged speed just so I can unlock the jedi can I drop them once I'm a padawan and get vehicle control and survival instead? Thank you for your time and input. /hi5
You can unluck all the FS branches if you wanted and train in all of them if you can spend the skill points needed.

Does anyone have positive confirmation on this or is it all speculation? I have heard also that they're locked and you can't change trees.

You must maintain a minimum of 24 FS boxes. So say you unlock jediand have exp banked for a 7th branch, you can train upthe 7th branch then drop one that you want replaced by the 7th you just filled in, putting you back at 6. You can never drop below 6 branches.

Yea Yea, that's the rumor. But rumors aren't always true. A jedi in my PA says he cannot train ANY FS skills at all. So he's stuck with what he's got because he can't pick up that 7th branch at all.
Im guessing this is the same with all jedi since I haven't heard of any besides him actually trying to pick up that 7th branch.

Ok here is a question relating to this. Lets say I want to unlock just to get another toon but dont want jedi is it possible to drop FS after another toon is opened up if you dont want jedi or are you kind of forced into it?
