I waited around 16 hours...from most of what I have heard, its within 24 hours, but I won't guarantee that. He visits you randomly, and the exitquest is whatever planet you are on when he visits.So ifI were you, I would make sure I was on an isolated planet where there aren't tons of player cities so that your mission won't get bugged inside a house or something when he does visit. And don't be afk

Even if you are AFK it is fine. If you see that he has come, just shuttle to a player city and he will be there.
Just grab some missions and head out into the woods, play around a bit. he will come. If it has been a week start getting worried

I completed my 6x4 late in the evening. I logged in the next day around 11:00am and he showed up within a couple minutes.

lol, after a week start worrying? Eek! I'm on day 7 and the old man still has not visited me! In just a few hours it'll be day 8 :/ .. This is just to get access to the village!
Like somone told me.. Patching the butt sliding thing was great! But Naturally that will probably bug/break the man old from spawning.

He wont visit you if you are waiting in your x-wing
just kidding. Where are you waiting for him. When I got him to visit for access to teh village I was doing everything, shuttling, running around sitting in the field. Had not kuck, so I just started running missions, after the second mission there he was. Just go about your life, he will come, but he will not show up if you are sitting in a city

make sure you are not waiting in any major NPC city. that's where alot of people wait for the old man. the old man will not show up there. Also, don't be riding your swoop or AV21s, he can't run that fast. LOL It's funny how many times I see the old man sitting in the middle of nowhere, because someone was driving their ride and missed him.
If you walk around even in your own player city he will show for you. Old man showed for Nijo just as I went to my bank to pull some stuff out of storage.

After 2 days waiting for my first visit, I decided to go fishing for the first time. I bought a fishing pole (the only one on the bazaar) and took the first shuttle out of Cnet to a player city. I ran out of town about 500m... maybe 1km and threw out my fishing line in a small river. I just got my first nibble when the Old Man came swimming up. It was pretty funny. You should have seen me scrambling to shut down the fishing interface so I didn't miss him.

Haha, yea I have tryed everything to get the old geezer to spawn. I havent been in major city for more than 5 min. I'm always shuttling and doing missions on dant. I found myself just standing and shuttling around rori for like 2hrs lol. Talk about being lame eh! lol. I'm taking a day off on it as I'm hoping that could be the next "trick" to get him to spawn. Either way I gotta stop posting about this as I've been here since day 4 asking everyone wth!

If he continues not to show, you may consider placing a CSR ticket on it.
Onething you may want to check: do a /check to make sure you are still listed as inner glow. It's possible the last thing you did got bugged. ... ... it is /check, right?

Yea I did the /che .. I'm still glowin.. I did the ticket thing and was told that I could wait until the servers are shut down permanently and they still will not and cannot help me. I saw him in a player city (I could only examine him not talk to him) and asked if I could be checked to see if I was bugged and still the same response. I was told it was probably somone else's"visit" .
