Thread: how long does it take
and if you did survive the two, it gives you a waypoint to go kill 4 of them...i guess at that point you could get a friend to help you.

Anywhere except in a non-player city or in space.

they stay up forever now, it's a bug. the only way to get rid of them is to log off for an extended period or to manually disband them.
no idea personally. I've bugged it in-game, but the best one to ask would be our correspondant. Best bet short-term would be to contact a CSR in-game and see if they can remove it.

Any idea on if the devs care? I can't get harvesters down. The person who placed them must still be online.
It is entirely possible that the player whose campse these are has no idea they would cause a problem, or that they are, as they may have looged out and just not been back yet.
The devs recently made an announcement (last two weeks or so) to the effect that anyone placing an object or structure in such a way as to block access to a dungeon or interfere with other players gameplay could/would result in disciplinary action, so yah, they care. Bug it, put a CSR ticket in and, if you know who your servers QA/CSR is, drop them a PM.
There WAS a fix for this bug on TC but it seems to have gone AWOL along with some other fixes.
This is a bug which has been repeatedly reported, but please keep doing so.
Normally, a camp would disappear in about 51 minutes. Back in the days of grinders and macros this meant that although you maxed XP in 21 minutes, the camp would not autodisband for another half hour - rather a waste of time.
Now it seems abandoned camps, camps where the owner is too freaking stupid to disband it before leaving; or camps where the owner has logged out from, stay around much, much, longer.
I think people should start calling this an exploit in the GCW - "Hey, this guy dropped a camp and left and it stopped me from ..." or something like that. Would be about the only way the Devs would give it any notice.
