wookies for teh win! i had swordsman/pikes with a little medic and i could tank several thugs with full armor and buffs without a prob and with a pike or a scythe i could kill each in about 1 or 2mins, not a long fight at all. no need to nerf em , i think they're fine as is. not everything is suppose to be handed to you, for all you that say u can't talk while fighting, too bad go in the house next to pameos and wait for someone to kill them if u urself can't, i've done that several times and never waited more then 3 mins

I think it's great that they have some hard nasties on these village quests.
It would be boring if everyone was easy to defeat.

I get a genuine adrenaline rush when i'm low on health and being chased around by an angry thug or two.

Good fun!

2 Thugs u'd need help with because ive done this almost a 12 times, and ive done my good share of killing on this Phase, so dont even tell me u can take 2 when u cant. I'd have to be there personaly to see u do it.
And Ive seen every Profession take these Thugs so i should know.

Too bad your not on my server, I could show you it is possible and not to sound cocky but not that hard. I just finished tanking then killing 2 thugs and 2 outlaws at the same time (probally could have thrown in a few more outlaws to). Get em in melee range and keep them there, intimidate them all and wear them down and I am just a lowly Doc/TKA imagine what a stacker could handle.

Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it isn't possible.

I found it easy enough to take them one 2 at a time as master commando/master tka.

Intimidate both of them then flame dot both of them then reapply intimidate dont give thema chance to recover from it and very quickly they die.

I think i could take out 3 of them because i was hardly taking any damage from them when it was 2 one 1, ithink alot of people think you can charge into any mob or npcand spam your most powerful move and this is not the case. Look at what specials you have regardless at what level you got it and see how effective it is against your opponent.

I love sith thugs, they drop good stuff more often than nightsisters and are a good challenge, after i managed to solo a giant canyon krayt i came to the realisation that things need to be harder or we need to be weaker and i believe the CU will deal with this.

Yes loot seem to be improved with Sith Thugs. I got some decent stuff from them.

I think you are missing the point, village stuff is SUPPOSED TO BE HARD!

Even a non-stacker like myself (Master Ranger/Master Rifleman/Novice Medic) can take a Thug if I HAVE to - with buffs/food/armour/stims. Heck I even did fairly well with just armour/food buffs. The point is you don't have to fight them if you don't want to. Just avoid them or head for the 'healing tent' if they make a b-line for you. If you just want to trade XP, best bet is to wait 'till the attack is over .

Same here - I can take on one thug with Pistols + Torso shot and keep them intimidated. I usually just ignore them though and kill 2-3 Pirates\Outlaws before my ham starts to get really hammered.

Best thing is to fight near the huts in the centre of the village - if you are getting hammered run inside. they can't attack you inside and it gives you time to heal and then go back out and start again.

Going near the start of the phase will give you more chance of being able to latch onto a group - and this does make a lot of difference, although its not impossible on your own, spread out over a few days.

Phase 4 is my favorite phase

always crying nerf. OHHH I want my jedi to be EASY to get, I hate hard things. Nerf them and hand me my free force sensitive mods please. ugh....

Man if I had the star rating enabled, u'd get 5.

I am getting sick of people who want jedi handed to them on a plate.

Thugs are easy to kill.

If you wasted all ur skill points getting the grenades line instead of some decent defence, then thats ur bad, lmao

I used to tank 3 or so of these guys with ease. It's quite simple. Fight ranged with ranged, melee with melee.

They go down hard with a T21.

90% sliced composite + a 65% PSG (w/ anti-decay kit) takes almost all the sting out of the thugs, regardless of the weapon they are using. I almost prefer to keep them at ranged, so the damage is forced to go through the PSG.

Still, you really shouldn't have to have 90% armor to deal with them.

Talk is too easy, so I don't really care how many thugs people say they can handle.

But about Nerfing the thugs....

This is supposed to be the hardest of the four phases, so I think they're ok.

Become a jedi is not an easy challenge....

(I can kill 20 thugs in about 5 minutes, I'm Entertaiment and Image Designer )

Wah! F_cking wah! f_cking wah! f_cking wah! f_cking WAH! Dude, this is a massive M-U-L-T-I-P-L-A-Y-E-R online roleplaying game. Get a group. Include a healer. Have some backup support.

....

Actually, scratch all that. Keep playing the way you do. Don't pick up any cooperative skill in this game. I've been thinking about playing a Bounty Hunter...
