You know, nowit has beenmentioned. The last phase 3 I took the rescue mission from the captain to help a friend. Last phase 4 I took ranged speed from the captain. This phase 3 I took the ranged defense from Dageerin and this phase 4 I took melee defense from the captain and was bugged. Now what catches me as odd is that a day or so before phase 4 took effect I talked to the captain and he still showed me as not being complete with the last rescue mission although I got the crystals and my quest log shows it complete. I wonder if that had something to do with it.

Just FYI I did the phase three a couple months ago and also the phase four last time. I did the Ranged defense this last phase 3 from dagerrin (Bad spelling) and I can't get this phase 4 quest for melee defense.

I took the melee def. quest last phase 4, but did not complete it as I went on vacation. I did do the melee acc. quest (and finished) last phase 3... and then I did the ranged defense quest this past phase 3. I am bugged. I cannot get the melee defense quest to work. Capt Sarguillo tells me to have some "R & R" -- I hope it's not another 15 weeks, though or else I am quitting the game.

I'm trying to do the Silvarra/Medical quest for phase 4. It's showing me that I've only done 1 heal, even though I've done a good dozen people in this wave alone.
Last phase I did Luck.

I've got the same problem than you guys. I did the Range speed last phase 4 and the melee accuracy quest last phase all with Sarguillo and i can't get the quest for the melee defense quest. This is the only unlock i need to get my jedi so i hope it will be fixed soon. Don't want to wait for next phase i want melee defense.

I'm bugged too, with the following quests completed:
Phase 3: Ranged Defense (Dageerin)
Phase 4: Ranged Speed (Sarguillo)
Phase 1: Ranged Accuracy (Sarguillo)
Phase 2: Survey (Eozlin)
Phase 3: Luck (Eozlin)
Phase 4: Bugged Melee Defense
Phase 3: Ranged Defense (Dageerin)
Phase 4: Ranged Speed (Sarguillo)

I think in order to have the bug, you have to have met both conditions here. At least this is truefrom what I have gathered from CSR.EvanF, who was EXTREMELY helpful. This seems to be the case on the forums as well.
Basically, if you did the quests last phase 4, and this saved the commander last month, you are bugged. It wouldn't happen if you saved the commander LAST rotations Phase 3, then took LAST rotations Phase 4 at Sarguillo. It has to be the conditions listed above exactly.

I think my situation is somewhat different.
Last Phase 3: I picked Melee Accuracy (I was not the one capturing the commander and I died, so mission still hang in the log even I got unlocked)
Last Phase 4: I picked Range Speed
Phase 1 Just Past: I picked Range Accuracy
Phase 2 Just Past: I picked Melee Speed
Phase 3 Just Past: I picked Range Defense
Current Phase 4: Cant get mission from lovely Captain
Just hope this can help the DEV.

last 4 phases for me have been completing master combat prowess, this would be my first reflexes unlock

melee def and last unlock next phase (i hope so, as i certainly dont see a fix yet, i have 2mil + fs xp banked into reflexes, not the kind of thing i was looking for was this to happen)

I did melee defense last phase 4, and saved the commander this phase 3. I had no trouble getting the ranged speed mission on the Tarquinas server.

Two server resets and bugs still not fixed.. wish someone at soe would realize how important this is. apparently it dont rank high enough up there to warrent imediate fixing

It's not working for "random" people. It's just bad luck, it has nothing to do with people doing the quest last phase, my friend did it last phase 4 and he did the other part no prob. We're just unlucky enough to have a scrambled code during the shift

Still no fix today. I'm not normally like this but the communication about this bug has been absolutely rubbish and is just like the 'old' SOE before they decided to actually make an effort towards the game.
All we have gotten is 'we are looking into 'reports' that the phase 4 quest is broken' it's quite apparent that there is a bug so fix it. The longer you leave it the harder it gets to complete this quest.
