Hello RebelKnight64,

Yes ..... italiano al 100%, chi mi conosce lo sa bene (il nick però non l'ho scelto io!) hehe ... but let's speak in english so all ppl here can read lol.

You are true dammit! I can agree! But let me please enjoy at this bug since I had several horrible bugs that really prevented me to play for weeks. I still have some of them. I got crushes simply beeing in the line for the buff, understand this? I'm still playing without the sound (disabled) cause the code has a bug and nothing of what I did was able to solve or fix the problem. Obviously the Support told me to do scans, adjust the drivers, change the sound card and so on but the bug is still there ... Two weeks ago, when JLT went live, I experienced crushes to desktop every 10min loosing all the toolbars setting ... A friend of mine from UK can't use the wheel of the mouse anymore ... dunno why! These are just quick examples.

That's why I enjoy having melee speed now. I really filled it for the actual Power Hammer (swordsman 0420) and for the future Lightsaber. Yes I'm grinding for the jedi's stuff.

If I had to stay rifleman I'll have hated it like you. Please note that I realized to have better ranger speed after having filled the melee speed branch and I was really surprised for this.

Here is your official answer:

- Carry on, as you were. Move on, nothing here.

P.S. How many times people have to explain that FS skills are for Jedi, not for you to add malee deffence (or ranged accuracy) to you already capped malee defence as TKM (or ranged accuracy as Master Rifleman). Ranged accuracy is for throwing a lightsaver at a target! If you don't plan on doing that - you shouldn't have picked that skill.

Can I just point out that FS skills are not only meant as a stepping stone to becoming a Jedi. They are also meant just to help boost your regular skills, for people not going down the path of a Jedi.

If you are going down that path, you'd be better off getting other skills to complement your future template.

But getting an official word on this would be nice.

And the Devs stated that where and when? Aurelian Village is part of the Jedi revamp. The whole idea of FS skills, glowy with force its all part of the path to become Jedi. Sorry you thought that FS skills can help your BH shoot faster - but that's not the case.

Just making sure you all know....

The devs don't read this forum. See Garva's stickied post "Please Read First - Purpose of the Forum." I suggest you bring this crusade to the Jedi or Rifleman forums.

Also, does anyone know if Ranged Speed/Accuracy will affect Saber Throw (when they are working)?

Thanks.

I haven't noticed any speed or accuracy difference with my ranged weapons at all....rifles still shoot slow as dirt (unless your a master which I'm not). Carbines are still slow and very inaccurate as they were before....pistols have always been accurate and fast so it's hard to tell with them.

Now I only have 2 boxes of ranged accuracy, maxed ranged speed, maxed melee speed and 2 boxes of melee accuracy.....but I see a big difference in melee speed and nothing for ranged.

it would be nice if someone would do some test with acutaual numbers so we can have some proof if the FS mods work at all....

You will not notice any real increase in rifle speed until you get to master rifleman, stepping from rifle 4444 to master will open a new world.

have a look to this page: http://www.killyourpc.org/swg/swg_dps.php?weapon_min=0&weapon_max=0&weapon_speed=0&pc_speed=0&class=Rifle

Hi all,

There are some threads about those skills being broken but to my knowledge no one made an officialstatement about or WHEN or even IFthey will ever get fixed.

I am sure there are a lot of ranged people out there (mainly rifleman I suppose) that would like to get them instead to be forced to pursue Melee Speed and Accuracy to get ranged bonuses.

So please ket us know if there are any plans to fix them.

Now with phase 4, are you all sure FS ranged speed are still broken?
I think FS ranged speed was blocked for phases 1,2 and 3

I would like to know that too. I think this bug isn't even that hard to fix. All who picked this skills are left with nothing. Hours and hours of useless grinding for nothing. I don't even want to become a Jedi, I just want some extra accuracy and speed with my gun. That's not too much to ask for, is it?
I heard it was already broken on the test center. Instead of fixing important things they made my armor look better. Am I missing something?

If they do not have the intention to fix this in the near future I think I might quite the game for a while. Launching broken stuff is one thing but just leave it at that and have no intention to fix it... I don't even have words for that. I'm paying to play a working game so if it ain't working fix it. If it's too hard to fix for the devs you have to hire better people who can solve this problem.

Hey all,

Unfortunately what you are discussing is not a bug but just the speed cap manifesting itself. The formula for combat speed with any combat profession is as follows:

[(100 - Player Mod) / 100] * Weapon Speed * Special Delay = Actual Speed

So as you can see, a Player Mod of 100 creates a zero value. This is where the speed cap comes into play; you are only a permitted to fire once per second. Now with regards to the Force Sensitive Combat Prowess skills for increasing combat speed; this are meant to allow players to reach the speed cap without having to be a master in their given combat profession. This is particularly important for players that are making the transistion to Jedi. Essentially Force Sensitive skills come in two varieties: to make getting force experience mildly easier and to give a little perk to those that get it. I say this because once you Master Lightsabre, you again reach the speed cap making the Force Sensitive melee skill useless. Melee accuracy, melee defence, and range defence do give bonuses for Jedi but they are all but trivial.

I hopes this sheds some light on this matter.

As a Master Rifleman you havn't reached your speed cap yet. When you are Master Rifleman you have Rifle Speed +90. The actuall cap for rifleman (red. fire any weapon at the maximum speed) is +98 (you can get more than +98 but that doesn't make a difference). Master Marksman gives you +5 extra speed so even when you are also Master Marksman you can get faster.
