i know what u mean scence theyve changed combat from 1:3 to 1:30 and bh from 1:1 to 1:5 its been hell cuz u only get around 7k from killing a jedi and 700 for killing a npc and combat is likke 15x longer to grind

No no, those of us who can do basic mathematics hate the 30:1 as well. Shift grenades to heavey weapons or GRENADE xp, every other weapon has their own specific type of xp. No weapon should earn pure combat xp, that goes against the reasoning of the xp system. Combat xp comes at 10% the rate of weapons xp. Therefore, it can be deduced that it should convert at 10x the rate of weapons xp. Methinks the devs are just lazy... or failed algebra.

To me the combat xp conversion going to 30:1 wasnt as bad as med xp going from 10:1 to 30:1. Med XP in a group is lot harder to get then regular weapons xp so I dont understand why it had to be moved.


Things to consider when trying to get med-xp:


1. Whole combatant/on leave mess. People are both so yourself better be combatant yourself to heal anyone. And of course someone is always combatant of another faction that you cant heal. Worst scenario is if he is the main tank taking the most damage.


2. You are always fighting for med-xp with other healers. No "shoot it once and get whole xp" thinkg like with weapons xp.


3. Area heal is the best way to get med-xp but heal agro is terrible, your bound to end up as a tank at some point.


4. If you shoot the creature, your med-xp just got halfed to both med-xp and weapons xp.


5. Sometimes with a good enough group with mostly ranged people and especially at the end of the lair when animals pop up with oneat a time, no body in the group takes any damage and so no med-xp for you.



These reasons are why I really hate that med-xp went from reasonable 10:1 conversion rate to 30:1 rate. I can easily cap weapons xp in a grind group but it takes lot more effort and time to cap med-xp.

I hate too 30:1 combat xp


Better:


Nades---> Nades xp for 4xxx commando and use c12 for get 1xxx

Either way you still earn the same amount of XP, it's either in combat stack, meds stack or split between the two.


Sure, it you just want to join the group and SPAM Bacta Spray then you're gonna take aggro. Or you can actually put the effort in and target the play to Bacta them 1:1, as long as they're attacking you get the full XP.


Ask yourself how much effort you want to put in, if the answer is minimal effort, for max XP and, oh by the way, I want it all now, now, now, then you lack patience and really do not seem like Jedi material....

Umm for the poster who says that med xp is just as easy to get your wrong. Im a master doc/ master pistoleer/ carbines 0400, and combat prowess 4000. I can easily cap both weapons (carbines and pistols) and still only have about 600k med xp. Oh and the way that the xp is split is by how much you use each weapon or healing. So if I hit a animal 20 times and heal 1-2 times im going ot get more weapons xp then med xp. So its not a even split. There are alot of issues when it comes to med xp. And me being a doc I only have a 10 meter range so that makes it even harder to have to run to a person that has the agro and heal them. But I agree with weapons xp just not the combat xp exchange rate. It should be 10/1 and med xp should be something like 15/1 since its half as slow to get.

Perhaps he should have left out the comment about "jedi material", but that does not make your healing analysis correct. I have yet to see anyone "fighting" for heals. I have been a doc forever, and never have a squibbled with someone (verbally or quietly) over healing a tank before they do.

OK jeez get over it i mean get a different template like ranger god scouting xp is easiest thing to do or ch not hard eitheir dont whine about stuff thats happened its over and not coming back so /pat dont like it quit. Retemplating isnt such a hard thing is it besides Jedi last i thought IS NOT EASY now that we have the fact cleared that its not gonna be easy thank you for ur time

Getting Jedi is supposed to be hard work, if you want to do something easy then go grind dancer AFK in a cantina somewhere....

The point of my post was that its harder to get med-xp then it is to get weapons xp, still they convert at same rate. I gave 5 reasons why it is harder.
