Not hardly. It is a GAME, try actually playing it instead of grinding.

Even if you're capped on XP, try killing stuff. You'll still get loot and/or credits at least.

I'm reminded of Bruce Lee's line from Enter the Dragon "It is like a finger pointing the way to the moon... DON'T focus on the finger, or you will miss all that heavenly glory" Try focusing on the process of playing the game instead of single-mindedly seeking the goal of Jedi. You'll probably enjoy it, and if you continue to do so after they fix this you'll likely enjoy the path to a finished Jedi template a heck of a lot more.

IT's been well over a week...tons of posts about it. Force Sensitive Player Rep trying to organize everything yet NOTHING from the devs. This is a MAJOR BUG that has stalled many people from advancing. If you are unaware of what I'm talking about, just look at all the threads in the Force Sensitive Forums. If you got all the requirements to become GLOWY AFTER publish 24..you are not glowy. You are stuck on "A strong sense of the force" even if you have all the requirements to become glowy. So NO visit from Old man if you "beat the requirements AFTER publish 24"....Will the devs ever give SOME word about this besides tiggs saying "I'm monitoring this thread" and then never giving any more information or even a confirmation that it's a bug.

i had a reply from a ticket i sent abbout my alt losing his glow and it said we must wait for a hotfix

Funny how the devs can respond / troll other forums but cant give us a simple answer to this issue. All it takes is for them to say if this is a bug or not.

So if I finshed the badges post 24 and did not get glowy I won't be visited by the old man? Well if thats not the biggest crock of dung I ever heard. So are tehy ever going to get off their butts and fix this since this has been going on for a week now?

I will try to get Tiggs to post an update here in the "loss of glowly" threadsoon but I can't promise anything.

Here is something to think about though while we wait ^_^
high priority fixes being worked on at this time: (and these are game breaking rather then irritating)

Invisible worlds graphic bug (space and planet)

CTD with mustafar

No log in possibleif you log out in the crashed ship on mustafar

crafting broken in that CD is no longer calculated right so the economy is halted.

I am sure they are working on glowly but the inability to play at all is in all probabliltygetting higher priority and rightly so. That is not to say they are ignoring glowly and not working on it - it just is not as high a priority as fixes for bugs where people can't even do anything at all.

Well sounds like these new bugs ae due to the expansion, hmm some thing that should have been fixed in beta. Addition to that this glowy bug has been around for over a week, before these new bugs occured. If you keep putting work off of course it will pile up on you.

You can because you had your visit already. The problem is that people can no longer get the initial visit from the Old Man. Therefore they can not advance to the Sith camp, and then the village. Not major for you, but major for some.

Well, I was not aware of that. If that was my case, I'd grind out my template til it was finished, cap all my xp. Chart which quests I would complete. Hunt krayts and NPC's with my guild/friends(stock up on crystals and pearls). Check out Mustafar. The point being is that there is still tons of stuff you can do the further your jedi or your upcoming jedi even if you aren't grinding out the quests or trading in xp.

But they're going to be behind a phase..thats a 3 week defecit for whoever can't get their visit..they may need to wait until phase 4, if that's the case..they're behind 3 weeks.
