Thread: Are the devs EVER going to respond about Loss of Glowy
Apparently you missed the messages that say it is in fact NOT just a text bug. If you have been visited by the old man, then yes, you will not be affected in anyway now that you no longer show "glowy". However if you have not been visited by the old man you will not be visited, even if you once saw that you were glowy. This is where the bug lies. People who became glowy before pub 24 but were not yet visited have lost their glowy status and have not seen the old man. New chars who have completed all the requirements to become glowy, will not become glowy and will not see the old man.
Please don't claim there is no bug here, last thing we need is a dev to listen to one ignorant person about this issue and simply cross it off the "to fix" list.
- if you were glowly prior to patch 24 but not visited by the old man - you will be - but it is best if you are in a player city or the wild (he generally does not visit pc cities or starports)
- if you finished the prereqs post 24 but are notglowly you will likely not be visited and you should just play the game for a bit - explore do other theme parks etc.
- if you reach glowly post patch 24 youshould be visited
In Village:(currently doing missions) (forcesensitive)
- you can still enter
- you can still unlock
- you can still train
Post Village: (ie: previously glowly and finished all the quests) (Jedi apprentice)
- the old man will visit and allow the exit quest

Not to be disrespectful here, but where do you get your information from? I have seen posts that range from having Strong Sense of the Force is enough to being that you have to get Glowy, still.
I have been stuck on Strong sense of the force since Saturday (post pub 24)and have been doing content, getting more badges, etc. and have yet to see anything change. Telling people to "continue" playing the game is an easy answer.
If it's broke, it's broke and getting more badges isn't going to fix anything. I

I hardly think is a major bug. I'm glowy, but only strong now. I can still access the village, do quests, and actually the only thing thats different is when I check it says something different. With all the other problems in the game, lets have the devs focus on bugs that are major, not just appear to be major.

You can because you had your visit already. The problem is that people can no longer get the initial visit from the Old Man. Therefore they can not advance to the Sith camp, and then the village. Not major for you, but major for some.

Well, I was not aware of that. If that was my case, I'd grind out my template til it was finished, cap all my xp. Chart which quests I would complete. Hunt krayts and NPC's with my guild/friends(stock up on crystals and pearls). Check out Mustafar. The point being is that there is still tons of stuff you can do the further your jedi or your upcoming jedi even if you aren't grinding out the quests or trading in xp.
