As Iwas still waiting for a base to spawn while I am around I decided to go and cause trouble... I can solo three Thugs. Had a great time doing it. I am still working with a messed up template on my combat alt so I know others can do it. Got a bunch of stuff for my crafter too.
BTW... area attack 3 (cant rem exact name) seemed to slow them down considerably. My BF for the nights adventures was 33. This includes the time I was out in a small group and the time I went solo.

All I can say after reading this is... AWESOME.
I can't wait 'till a friend of mine gets off from work tomorrow so we can go do this. It's gonna be awesome.

Come on. It'sa little early to demand to make it easier. It was the same when the Corvette was launched; everyone complained that the SBDs were super tough etc. Now people don't seem to have any trouble with it when tactics are ironed out.

When we got back to the Village, we couldn't stop /cheer /bow /bow2 /bow3 /hi5. We genuinely glowed triumphantly. It was an awesome feeling. Especially after the +9k walk back to the village without terrain negotiation. =P

well im doing all the quests solo as i have no-one todo them with.
so i hope its not so hard that it cant be solo'd by a
tkm/master swords/pistoleer
guess i'll find out over the weekend

I met a bunch of ppl today at the village. We were all scratching our heads at the mission. Ask around (during non sleeping hours). I'm sure you can find someone/s. =)

and... if you do it solo, you don't get the uber cool focused crystal bonus(only awarded when in party).

This mission is competely doable solo, but its completely easier with another person.
