I REALLY like the idea, i just hate it when i go hunting with the guild, the doc has to go trade in medic xp after he buffs us all,and after an hour or two more 50% has capped their weapons xp, so they want to go to trade those.

Grouphunt these days (at the best) last 2 hour.what happened to the "good old days" when we could go to endor and stay there the entire day ?? just hunt and have fun with friends

they want us to group, but then they destroy our reasons to do so.

/agree;

We are playing and paying monthly fee and as i follow at the forums many many people are not happy about the caps.

Who reads this forums ? Only players or any Devs ?

Why cap ?

There must be rules for playing the game but it must be playable and it must not be boring while we play.

/agree to an extent. The reason they wont increase the exp is because they dont want someone to store all the exp required to remaster a profession. So I would propose that once you are exp capped you change to fs exp. Which then can be converted at a 1 to 1 ratio in the village. Example let's say your a TKM, so your cap your 900,000 unarmred, now you continue to gain exp, except that it is not unarmed but rather a generic FS exp that is = to the conversion rate, so instead of 3,000 exp for a storm trooper you would get 100 fs exp. Which then can be converted at the village for either combat or reflex exp. Once combat exp caps you would get additional fs exp based upon the same conversion. This would allow you to continue to play the game. You don't really need the time sink of driving back and forth to the village because you have the three week gated phases.

For me going to the village to convert is the most boring thing of the fs grind.

yeah I like the original idea of this thread.From what this guy posted . I say maybe go this route , leave a cap for anything under master.That way if you drop master status you will then have a cap , and lose your EXP.Also receive a message saying " If you drop master status you will lose XX amount of EXP , and your max cap will be xx"

Heh I just got a funny idea ,don't know if its a good one . But , shouldn't a Master be an actual master.Say if he dies he loses a certain amount of EXP.He eventually can lose Master status ,and which point no XP loss would incur.Just a thought ,could be good and bad.

Travel time to and from village is an intended addition to the grind time needed for Jedi.

I know they intended for it but my only question is why, time sinks in a MMORPG are silly.

They already limit the progression of your FS by the villages Phases, so why add another time limit that frustrates the player base?

I understand the point that they don't want people to be able to cap out XP to remaster a proff in a day, so instead why not give the option to convert on the fly by using your force crystal/quest journal. Simply allow people to convert the XP through the crystal (which makes more sence to me anyway, "You use the force crystalto channel you combat/crafting/etc. experience and feel enlightened in ways of the force, __ combat/crafting/etc. coverts to __ FS xp"). Saves the frustration of a trip just to convert xp. Still have to travel to the village to train and still have to do the quests to unlock tree's so the overall time to unlock is the same.

Would seem to be a better method to me.
