With the wide variance in the loot drops, I don't see how it would even be possible to really tell if anything has improved with this skill. At any rate, the effects of the other branches seem much more noticeable and worthwhile.

Hey...didn't Obi-Wan say that in his experience, there was no such thing as luck? Why are they making a whole force sensitive tree based on it?

I've been a lucky looter for awhile I know many who can atest to that. I was thinking of doing the luck branch but after trying to fill it with xp for awhile I decided against it. It would take way too long for me unless someone has some good ideas on how to make it go faster with a MD. Or it might be a good idea for me not to mess with the luck I already have.

From killing stormtroopers recently, I havelooted4 adhesives in an afternoon, most of theuseless weapons I loot now also come with crappy dots or useless mods and an entire orange rug (7 threads, dye, patches and adhesive) in one buff session among many other interesting things.
Most interesting is the skill attachments - all +5 with one mod or a total of +4 with two mods (+3/+1 or +2/+2). Someone I spoke to there who didn't have luck had been looting +1 attachments.
I also find I loot crystals and other useful/valuable itemsmuch more regularly from higher level mobs.

The day i got the luck line i looted a +25 Melee Def. Bando off a Dark jedi master, but i'm a lucky b@stard anyway =)

The loot system has changed so that all npc's that were able to drop credits will drop them (or something) every time now.
It has been that way since I believe Publish 10 came out.
Notice that if you get attacked by and kill a couple meatlump fools and loot them that they keep generating forever now?

Perhaps its just a rumor, but a lot of the rumors told have been true, alot of people on server Kettemoore seem to think this also

loot is random
therefor it is entirely possible all the 20000 people that got the luck branch started getting better drops..
what i am trying to say is..there is no way to check it...because luck=random

ah, so luck is about as good as persuasion, which is about as good as vehicular control. glad these trees were the xp grind to get them.

Time to share, lol. The night before last I was on Dathomir in search of Enraged Rancors .. I kept running into Nightsister Initiates. The last time I ran into them I had 6 all around me and really couldn't handle them alone once my mind buffs died. LOL. So, I enlisted the help of my sweetie pie (heh) and he came to my rescue. Of course, we grouped and I told him to let me loot because I had the "luck" tree so we could see how much more credits we got than normal.
WELL!!!
I didn't really notice the amount I got in credits as much as I noticed the
+10
Fire
Resistance/
+5
Grenade
Experimentation
Clothing
Attachment
that my boyfriend SWEARS fell outta his pocketbecause aNightsister Initiate originally stole it from him.
Pfft .. PUH-lease!
Ok .. so now it's on a pretty pink shirt .. lol ..and it's MINE...MINE .... MINE!
To be honest .. I never looted anything that high in my life.

What about Gambling. Some people should go to a Jubilee Wheel, bet max, and see ifyou win a lot. Maybe Luck has some affect there.
