Thread: Devs---New way to become a jedi.

as for the vis question someone said you would not get vis. you would on player characters that are not jedi and on jedi on the opposite faction. This makes it where you can have a PvE jedi. and if you want to do PvP then you will get vis. I have a jedi, and a BH. I would like to have jedi chosing to be PvE and PvP. My jedi would do both, but with what someone said that some BH like to hunt padawan because they dont have template finished, where is the fun in that. No challenge at all. Plus with the time to get certain things like padawan and knight, they are not exact or close just implying that we need some sort of time to add to it. My friend just made jedi knight with his 4th account. These are things i dont like to see. from total newb to Jedi Knight in 7 months should not be real. it should take time as how when this launched jedi where not supposed to be in the game. They put them in through holos. I actually liked that, you had to grind up professions to get it, now you just go to the village do 6 quests and use nades for combat xp. not everyone uses nades i know but alot do to take the easy road to get their jedi. the ones who dont use nades i respect, i know everyone does not want to take forever to get jedi, everyone wants to be one, but everyone should not be one. I would give up my jedi if they made these changes or something close to them. I would give up my jedi if they made a cap on them, or if they put permadeath in. I actually liked perma death. made jedi scared and rare.
It isnt real for everyone. It is only real for established players who can buy another account and feed that account money and items to progress that fast. I have also done exactly this.I have an account that's 1 year old, I bought another at the first of this year. I leveled it and now it will be jedi in just a few more short weeks. Roughly 6 more. So it has only taken me4 months to grind, pvp, have tons of fun, get fs and unlock train 4 columns, and im am still moving. I will be knight around the 8-10 month of this year given I work moderatly and not super fast.So in relaity it takes at least 75% of a year for a VET to make a new toon be Knight. A REAL NEWBIE could never ever do this, they would have to go through the process of becoming a VET first and knowing the entire game. hehe

I'm going to have to call BS on this..i just finished the grind, all of my fs xp in 4 weeks, that was roughly one buff session a night, 2 per day on the weekend, grouped for every one. While I didn't always grind as fast as i could have, the BEST i ever made was 465k in one session, 3.5 hours, i have heard of getting up to 500k...but that is only if EVERYTHING falls completely into place...remember, this is dathomir and 75% of the time your lair spawns in the middle of a bunch of other crap that your mobs agro, you then half to go kill those other critters to get yours back = wasting buff time.
But let's say 500k per buff...it's exactly 1.25 million totrain one tree...that = 2.5 buff sessions or roughtly 8-9 hours of grinding..it can be done in a week..but most people have jobs/lives ![]()

I don't see how in 1.5 buffs ANYONE could get 1.225mil FSxp. The most tends to be 400-500k FSxp per buff. I could be wrong, yes, but I still don't believe it
