Thread: Endor (game wide?) Spawn Nerf?

Mr Topi -
read my post again = if your within 2k of a POI or Starport/city - the spawns are ok.
now - go way out into the boonies - like 10k away from the above...
OK sorry for not answering properly. Am no authority by any means either.
I have always thought that is the way it is... I have seldom found any great amounts of spawns outside that 2km radius on any planet @ Chimmy.
As I have read somewhere, the spawn system is supposed to be passive, triggered by the presence of a player character.

Well... thanks for all the replies. As it turned out, I droveabout 20,000 meters total, much of it in a big loop around the Smugglers Outpost about 800 to 1000m out. Not ONE spawn. But I never did get off and walk... had never heard it was tied to foot traffic. So I shuttled over to Dathomir where things looked normal and hunted there for a while. I finally came back to Endor several hours later and things were back to normal - there were spawns everywhere.
So my guess is that no one had been there for a while (even though my first trip there should have been hours after server reset). And since I never got off my bike, I guess no spawns were triggered. If this happens again, I will try getting off my bike and walking for a while.
Well, on the Naritus server it was spawn heaven on Endor. I flew out to a Wookie Life Day waypoint and spent the 2000 meters doging red cons the entire way. Can't recall any other planet as heavily populated as it was last night.
Sorry - not trying to rub salt in the wound ![]()
Cheers

interesting approach, i'll have to try it out.So, to sum up possible workarounds:1. Get off your bike and walk around.2. Pull out a droid/pet.3. Get mission/destroy natty lair.
You don't even have to pull missions, at least I didn't. Looks like if the system sees a "group" of ppl it is more likely to spawn random mobs and lairs.

In my experience, it seemsthat there is about a 2km radius around poi & non-player cities where spawns happen, and beyond that just emptiness on a consistent basis. Often times i'll see crazy overspawning near the outpost and then nothing after 2km.
I found that endor is a little more prone to these dead spawn times inside the 2km radius that you're talking about. Dunno if its a myth or my imagination, but it seems that if i destroy one lair it "wakes up" the spawn and normalizes in a few minutes. Kinda tough if you never see any around tho
Try taking a few missions in the meantime and see if that helps repopulate the area.
Especially on dath, endor, and yavin nowadays i dont see much beyond the area of poi/cities.

the way the wild spawns work is based on players, if there is know one in an area nothing is there, when you enter the area, it registers and things spawn, and if your on a speeder the will not be time for the things to spawn ![]()
so unless u go to an area where ppl have been try traveling slowly ![]()
