You might consider changing your "hunting ground" now after you posted that screenshot
9500m from a starport, plus i don't bother going there now cause of the gorax. The trick here is that I play pretty safe so i'm not worry about BHs and if i question it even a little, i login to my BH to see if i'm on the terms

What is that bar you have next to the chat window? Looks like a bar with macros but how do you get that? I thought you were only able to have the normal toolbar buttons ?
those are my buffs, my point to that layout being i can see everything in one glance, there's no looking around anywhere but that corner. As for my F keys, i know them by heart and at this point can fight blindfolded in terms of using special attacks. I mean there's onl3 3 i even use now, polearm dervish, saber toss and leg hit 3, that's the first 3 on the toolbar. 4'th is polearm hit 3 which is weaker than dervish and not AE like dervish so its useless, as is spin3 since dervish outdamages spin 3 (but a side note is that spin3 is your posture change and dervish can dizzy, blind and stun so in PvP they are useful).
I also meant to add that my combat que has to be moved to that position manually every time i log in, the rest of the UI setup is "remembered".
I keep my lightsabers in the second bar so they are harder to equip, the only tough one is that i have force speed on top and although i have never accidentally hit this one while in a busy starport, it's probably just a matter of time before i drop a glass on F-6 or something stupid. The main thing being that you should try to make it harder to hit keys that will make you use the force around other players.

Looks like the modifier (buff) window, if that's what you're talking about?

you might want to get as musch force xp banked before you enter the padawan trials. Before you enter the trials you cannot gain visbility. Once you get padawan and train in all of the Novice boxes you should have a decent force pool and plenty of abilities. Looks like you can cap at 80k force xp.
that would take so long without novice LS i would not advise it. Slow you're looking at 12 hours of grinding, fast at least 8, once you get novice LS you can get the other4 boxes much faster. I've heard some initiates just starting out take as long as 4-5 hours to get the first 20k of xp, if you do what i suggest it should not take that long, but to multply that by 5 would be painful. Also, you can't start getting jedi xp until you complete the 8'th or 9'th trial when you craft the saber, so you have to start them prior to getting xp anyway...

Thanks for all the great info, I do have one question though. Crystals drop off for the most part NPC's not creatures, so what does a padawan do about getting new crystals withough getting on the terms?
grind out master doc + 2hand sword and go pwn some nightsisters on your alt. I've also managed to buy many off vendors for cheap. The key here is that the dev's say only about 20% of the player base comes to these boards, so odds are there are a lot of vendors that don't know the prices that things go for on these trade boards. But i suggest the sword + doc method, even my BH + TKM is good for collecting crystals too, but i like being able to buff myself while i hunt for them.
Oh, there are some padawans who do their own crystal hunting, they are usually in the MLS + range and go for like 180k on the BH terms, I mean at that point its ok to do your own crystal hunting if you dont mind BH's chasing you. At that level with some enhancer the nightsisters will drop like the harder nyax boys. I played a friend's account that has MLS and actively hunts nightsisters and he let me go kill a few, it was fun but I don't like having to watch my back that much just to get crystals and the swordsman + doc drops the sisters pretty good too.

I haven't quite reached Padawan yet, but I already miss my Swords/Doc. Buff and Kill, Buff and Kill.
i won't lie, you will reach a point while dropping regular skills that you question why you even went jedi, then you hit a certain point and all of the sudden the grind starts moving, you're killing things (without armor) you never could before and you start to love jedi. I didn't play my padawan for 3 full weeks because of what I thought was a mistake, i'm glad I'm jedi, its very cool if you can stick it out.
