LOK is a good place to start. I can always find a hunting party on LOK. Gurks give you about 400 scout exp and Kimos give you about 2000 scout exp. You could also just run around, but thats no fun..........Happy Hunting

Best is to go out in a group of people so you can hunt the larger creatures. Find a guild to work with if you havent already. Thats the best way. Solo is a matter of whatever your combat skills are. Look up what organics are in demand for your server. Its going to sound odd but if your still a novice brawler or novice marksman hit the darned Tat Nunas over and over if the meats good as it usually is. You can make enough money off of resources for better armor, better weapons, for faster harvesting and quicker money. Rinse and repeat.
The absolute quickest way to get harvesting, and most dangerous, go out to dath with an enraged rancor group and level up like its no tomorrow

Are you soloing?
Are you a brawler or marksman?
Are you looking for help on a particular planet or will any planet do?

and remember, the smaller critters will give you almost nothing after your weapons skill as reached a profficient stage. group up for the best, they can do all the hard work while you just sit back and pull off the meat/hide/bone. Most of them won't care just as long as you're at least trying to help out. (this is a good time to have a lot of stim b's and novice medic. if you heal them they'll appreciate you).

Has anyone used the food, Vegeparsine, to enhanse harvesting? If so, what was your experience?

If you're thinking about harvesting and using the Scout XP for FS, forget it.
I did the math, and you'd have to cap scout XP over 700 Times for ONE BRANCH of a FS tree.

But if your hunting already, and you can get some extra money for the harvested resources, and even just a bit more force xp for something your already doing. Wouldn't it at least enhance the grinding effort?

In the real world though (for you sheep that believe anything you read)
One Branch of the FS xp adds up to 1,275,000 million FS xp. At a 8:1 ratio that translates to (1275 x 8) 10,200,000 million Scout xp. So that means (10200 / 30k scout xp max) that you would have to make 340 trips to the village to fill one branch. That's (340x4) 1,360 trips to max out all four heightened senses branch.
This is not even algebra.
