Woohoo....this was some amazing content!....(heavy sarcasm)
oh...Sniper...you do not have to kill the Sith...rather than driving to the WP I simply circled it from 200m outand found the ship on the OH map. No Sith ever spawned once I stoppedhittingthe WP and I did not even have to climb off my swoop to get the box of supplies (I think landing on the WP initiates the Sith spawn)

1st trip - success
2nd trip - aggro'd all the sith and got killed (oops!)
3rd trip - got the supplies, pickeda fight with a couplestormtroopers and 'lost the supplies' (but beat up the stormies)
4th trip - no ship, no supplies
5th trip -ship spawned next to a Gorax, got the supplies, then got killed by the Gorax... lost the supplies
6th trip - no ship, no supplies
I *should* be done with this quest... I'm 1 more unspawned ship from telling Whip just where he can put the supplies...

What dows Vehicular control do?
It makes you accellerate faster, makes you stop faster, and your turn radius is smaller.
You will NOT:
- drive faster
- drive faster uphil
- drive faster downhill
- be able to drive backwards
- be able to drive sideways
- be able to drive any better than you did up to now
Isn't that a bummer! And I heard the difference is not that noticable. only got it because I have no idea what else I should level

VC control quest definitely boring as hell but I believe actually faster than the Phase I Patrol quest.
I was FS grinding at the time so to break up the monotony, everytime I capped I'd head to the Village, convert exp then get another WP from Whip, go to Endor, do the quest, grind exp, cap.. etc.
I actually appreciated the break from the monotony (which says something about the FS system!).
And I like VC, the difference is very noticeable (full tree) when I compare my FS and regular characters. When navigating through townsthe number of "Ahhh bollocks I missed the archway AGAIN and got stuck in a corner" moments has dropped to nearly nil

I actually didn't mind this quest - it wasn't ludicrously hard and to be honest 3 hours to complete is nothing.
Although I would have been happier if I had actually read/checked the wp and not tried 3 times to drive from the FS village to the crash site on Dath and back searching for the supplies.
I was cursing the purboles in the area thinkink they kept knicking the stuff.
In fact I only realised my error by accident when I went to endor to drop some harvesters on my lots for a guildie and I noticed a WP appear for a downed shuttle. It was at that point a guildie said "oh yeh, they always crash on Endor, didn't you know that?"
*sigh*

KRONOS1974 wrote:I just did this quest this week. THis by far is the worst quest i have had to do. It had nothing to do with jedi, swg, nor fs. 6k trip to village, 6k trip to starport, trip to corellia, trip to endor, 3.5km ride to wp, 3.5km ride back to starport, trip to corellia, trip to dath, 6km trip to village. Repeat 6 times. The only thing i can think of is this is the " learn to have patience " part of being a jedi.
JTL, straight to Endor and Dathomir, no waits. And yes, this quest was bugged so it was next to impossible to do this when it first went live. I got stuck on it and had to wait for a hotfix last time around.
Have fun GRINDING for Jedi.

This is how I did this quest.
1.I went to the village, picked up my waypoint.
2.Went to cnet/dant buffed.
3.Went to Endor, picked up the crate, killed lots of furry ewoks and marauders, until I had capped or nearly capped.
4. Went back to village dropped of crate
5. get new waypoint
6. trade in exp.
7. Rinse and Repeat.
I found this to be a better use of my time.

I tried this quest last night but on my second waypoint the ship didn't spawn at all. There was nothing on hte OH map - I circled 200m out and 500m out - nothing. What happens now? Do I haveto abandon the whole mission and start all 6 again or can I go back to whip and still receive another waypoint?

Novice Reflexes takes the same XP as Vehicle Control, so if you have XP banked for Vehicle Control, go ahead and train Novice Reflexes. It'll take 50k XP from what you have banked and then you can train Vehicle Control with what's left. If you had enough for 1 and 2, you'll definitely be able to train 1.
