Speaking as a double padawan, terrain negoation is really nice, but also think of your need for defense, I hate to say it but I would try to figure out a way to do them both, the def helps you on everything not just stackers, ahve a RL friend that just unlocked and he was a master rifle, and he gets ripped up left and right, hes lucky he was humonoid(sp) so he can get bio clothes, while me beoing a walking carpet get to have one item of bio lol.
Moral of teh story, do them both, had a run in with a BH other night, got her down to a sliver of mind and she burst away, I couldnt catch up with her (on endor, hills everywhere) she popped some spice or something and came back, she started mindshotting me and well I tried to run but messed up and chose to go UPHILL OUCH lol. One dead carpet lol. Was fun though most Ihave ever had in game in 3 ish years. The def tree is just not to help with stackers it helps a ton with mobs.
Also I would recommend getting one additional box of FS, reason being it makes your bounty uneven and most BH wont take an uneven bounty. IE to master a skill, say LS, you will have to spend 1 sp to get the master box, on the terms its shown (example) non MLS would be 50k MLS would be show as 55k (because of the 1 sp spent for the master box) BH see the price and know your a master of some skill and most wont take it, wont be easy for them, so its like poker you gotta bluff abit, you never know that 1 sp you spend extra inFS might just help you out abit. You can always drop it later when you actually have mastered a skill lol

Thanks for all the tips. I only like the survival tree for the Terrain Neg. as I am out of scout these days and rely on a ca for some. Melee Def also looks nice, but as I'll keep my tkm lines for as long as possible, as has been suggested I can take when needed.
So I've unlocked Survival and just need to fill in 6 more boxes to get to Mel. And then the fun really begins!!!
