From what ive heard/read on different postings they are nerfing nades come may 5th ( combat downgrade), as far as the exp gained from them. Not 100% but it will light a fire under those that nade grind to get as much done as possible now. Capping 4-5 times a buff session is possible if done correctly.

does anyone know if the CU is going to be an optional patch?
b/c i want to know if i should hurry up and grind out all my xp for FS or if i can still take my time and not download the patch so the grenade grind will still be proficiant

Well first of all, the Cu is not only in concer of Jedi and Village FSXP. Its a general concern about the Game itself, as I saw on the post of the SOE /DEV coalition ( smile) I see that the "group" [play] will be a must. How can a company force you to group if you're in China, and the rest of your friends are in the USA? the time difference is huge and puts you donw to play maybe 1 hour a day, because the rest of teh time you'll be spamming "I need help to kill a butterfly plz grou[p me and help" Its insane what SOE are doing with this game. I think I will be not only worried but FORCED to Cancel my account as far as it concverns my playstyle. Until now all of us had the chance to SOLOgrind our profetion and master it, this will not be possible in the future anylonger. Here is my point: How can someone master and get a new profetion if the NPc or Mob is so damn hard you can not solo it? I can't be waiting on a group that maybe logs into the game and gives me a hand to kill this Janta Dude or a Butterfly in CNET. I guess I make myself clear enough an dI hope I don't misslead the general crowd on this. Finally, I hope that this CU upgrade will not destroy the game.
Jedi, and FSXP is also a concern of almost 90% out there ( Hey guys I am one of you
) I hope that the Nades grinders will make it until than, but I am a TKA and no way I will make it so I guess a other account lost to the Stupiditiy of SOE and the DEV's. well I guess they gonna make the game more fun for NOOBs but not for us...us yes the people that made this game what it is nnowadays a real fun game and I have to say ...no I have to YELL: STOP NERFING THIS GAME PLZ" Stop making things harder as they are already are. It makes no sense to grind over 5 month to get a skill that is useless. Vehicle control, Persuation.....and so many more. Its all about the money we have and must pay in order to get something done "PLZ stop this screwing us up, we made this game what it is today" So plz respect the players and not your valet.

i'm not worried one bit. i unlocked glowy a week ago so i have no chance of reaching jedi before upgrade. i'm looking forward to it actually. if they are going to force you to group to kill things you used to solo, so be it, they will adjust the xp accordingly. in the past few months there have been some really cool improvements in my opinion. i think soe knows where they are going and the dev team is getting better at giving us what we want.
i can guarantee that 90% of you who say you will quit if they change something you like as it is won't quit. you are only scared of the change, normal reaction to any change. you will however adapt and adjust, that's what we do, and will come to enjoy the new system. give the devs a break, staring at html code for hours on end gives me a headache, their code is much more complex.

lol i dont have any FS xp stored and i havent started the commando grind but i figure that once i make commando 4/0/0/0 and TKM, and with the fact it is possible to make 500k FS xp per buff, i can bank all my FS xp before the CU

no were has it been said that "grouping is a must", Grouping will be encouraged yes, but not a must, Combat will be the same IMO, just slower, with more downtime, they won't just erase the abbility to solo out the game LMAO, chill out, Maybe you will be suprised by what the CU brings

mostly i think tehy will by balance they mean, Everyone is going to suck, but so will Mobs, Jedi wont be all powerful now... but killing High lvl things most likely will be like it was in the old days of SWG

i'v just purchased WOW lol I have 4 1/2 branches left to fill in fs grind and i said **** it. Lol i dont feel like wasting 99% of my time tryen to get all this exp b4 cu. I plan on enjoying wow untill cu comes out and if I think the grind seems reasonablein the cuI will do so at a more comfortable paste then wut i have been doing the last week or 2. I feel that that SWG is based to much on a contious grind rite now.Sure jedi should'nt be easyto get but it should at least be some what fun. Anyways thats just my opinion.

Rezzing will be pack-less. If it's an ability, there's likely a cooldown. It's also been stated that pvp deathblows will not be able to be performed instantly. That will certainly slow down the deathbots.

Basically, they are making it somewhat of a challange, and removing the cheap ways for way too easy quick XP. No reason to complain, it's making the game much better.
