You may as well unlock it if it's there. doesn't mean you actually have to fill the branch but at least you have the choice then. Also phase for for me has got to be the most fun phase. Gets yer bum twitching like a rabbits nose

So you did this AFTER you got jedi? Because that's what we want to know.
In answer to your sig question: Go into "my profile" at the top of the swg forums page, click the my prefrences tab, in the first section uncheck "Use WYSIWYG Message Editor".

Yes you can. As long as you keep 6 it doesn't matter. All you have to do is fill up a 7th then you will be able to drop one.

Yes it's after becoming a Jedi, you have to fill a complete 7th tree before you can drop another.

much easier if you just make a layout of what you want and wat phase is which and such and such

That was the reason behind this question Silentjunior 
some of us want 3-4 branches that all fall in one phase.. like me iwant 3 out of the phase 3 unlocks. But that leaves 12 weeks in between each branch....why wait when by the time the 2nd one comes around i could be full template (have some i dont need unlocked waiting for ones i wanted tili was sure i could drop them later). Would just suck to get stuck later on with trees i didnt want....but would suck worse to have to wait until February 2006 to unlock.
