If anyone flame nade xp because its unlike jedi or unlike starwars,

There is no difference between nade xp and normal xp grinding

First grinding is grinding. I enjoyed nade xping myself . It wasnt totally fun but I had fun indeed.

Second if anyone argue true jedi-like, u act like true jedi in game? There is no role of jedi in SWG. It's simply one of profession u play.

No need to worry about flames and whines. Why are u trying to become a jedi? It's totally for ur own fun in game. If u ever wanna enjoy game, you have to respect others too.

Cheer all fsxp grinders!

While I hate nade grinders as much as the next guy, I don't think any less of them. They just have a lot more money to spend than I do (it's either that or they're a lot less stingy)

I've gotten about 1 mil fs xp just using swordsman in about 5 days... and after that, I can honestly say, I don't blame anyone for nade grinding, because after some 20 pure hours later of grinding waving a hammer around, it gets old. So kudos to you rich people

Well, the problem I have personally with nade grinding is it takes no effort. You get mission, you run to mission, you hit button a bunch, and repeat for a while. The nade grinders usually have ALL the FS XP they need grinded and put away before their first phase is over, and I don't see how that is challanging or rewarding, but if you're only looking to get Jedi to be leet, and not for the experience, to each his own.

and PS, I'm not a Jedi, I just unlocked my first branch and haven't gotten to novice yet. I just grind to the best of the abilites I already have, instead of pick up a profession I've never used just to grind everything in a few days. I can't wait until they fix grenades giving combat xp. It's the same as seeing a huge group of AFK bots standing around Paemos constantly shooting/killing/rezing their AFK bot alts or AFK bot friends. But then again, I'm a RPer, not a leet powergamer.

I appreciate all the posts guys. I hope that you all find your paths to jedi if that is what you want. This post was not really just because I am upset with people who flame me (I don't care), but more for all the others out there that are discouraged because of flamers. I know the CU will change things, and then there will be other ways to do the same thing. I just want to offer encouragement to all those who people who nade grind so they don't have to spend all thier time just grinding. Keep the faith guys and do what needs to be done to have your fun.

I have posted too many times in here.....and I will quit. I am just wondering about all those jedi who speak ill of nade grinders. There are only a few ways you can get to jedi. 1. You did hologrinding in the day.....now there is a system for a whole other discussion. 2. You ground out xp and exchanged in the current village system.

If you were of #2 you either were doing non-combat grinding (hmmmm...) or you ground out your xp in weapons or combat. If you did weapons xp you spent about 18 weeks or so (if you did if fast)...sitting at a nest of something spamming aread attack...you got your weapon xp and combat xp (which I am sure no one ever exchanged that, that would be too easy)....and you got your jedi.

Then you come to the forum and flame the new guys for standing in a lair and throwing nades.....how pathetic....Same concept, different weapon (which is about 1000 X more expensive). I just don't get it. For those that are grinding right now and say well I won't do nade grinding because it is unjedi like, unstar wars like, unwhatever like, you too are pathetic...just because this whole system is unstar wars like. Let people do what they want to do...no one is hurt from this no one is any better or faster more or less uber becuse of it. As the saying in my generation goes...."Pull up your pants and get over it!"

With nade ginding no one is standing at the village spamming nades.....in fact you will most of the time not even see these people at all. If will take them about 18 weeks to get their jedi...just like you.

You really don't ever hear any complaint of anyone grinding any other profession...standing in a field shooting things for hours on end to master pistoleer or even tkm...just jedi.....BH grind their xp too....and sad to say and kick many jedi butt. We also don't flame jedi for going in to hiding to grind out xp with ls.....and I am sure if there was a faster way you would do it.

Live and let live........I am sorely disappointed with those who think less of others....

My grinding method is morally superior to all grinding methods!! I demand that you worship me as a saint!!

Hehe, there's always someone trying to earn oneupmanship XP, and if your method is proven to be less effective you can always claim that doing it more efficiently is cheating.

Or you can just do whatever works for you and ignore the clowns and let them go compare the length of their lightsabers somewhere else.

It's pretty simple really. When people start paying for my accts, all seven of them, then they can tell me which is the correct way to play. Until that happens, I'll happily grind however I deem fit for me.

Amen, brother. I personally don't use grenades (I'd rather run around in the woods whacking stuff with a sword than stand around in a vendor's shop), but heck, I absolutely macro-ground my way to master architect, master weaponsmith, and master dancer, and anyone who thinks I needed to "experience" any one of those three professions and learn how to play them can kiss my yellow butt (I'm half-Japanese).

But, I will disagree with one statement someone made earlier - I don't care how hard Jedi FS grinding is, it absolutely HAS to be less obnoxious than the dancer grind. Holy moses...

Having to grind to master dancer as part of the original holo quest was why I left SWG in the first place. You know, I can understand how some people like the whole "social" aspect of SWG, and I certainly enjoy posting on the boards, but when I'm in the game, no offense but I want you to leave me the heck alone. Dancing in a cantina fortwo weeks straight was quite honestly the single most boring experience I have ever had in 20 years of gaming, yet I stuck with it just to try and get Jedi (learning I couldn't get holocrons unless I was a creature handler and grouped was the final straw). If I have to go out and wander around the galaxy for a year and a half killing every type of creature known to wookie-kind, just to get my training saber and then have to repeat the process for another two years to become a full-fledged Jedi Knight, well... Lemme tell ya, it'll STILL be preferable to dancing in a damn cantina in Coronet for a week.

Just once I'd like to meet the lame-brained, oxygen-deprived, cousin-loving moron that came up with the old holo grind system.

He probably plays a creature handler...

Why couldn't SOE put this all into place two years ago?

It comes down to this it doesnt matter how u do it in the end the people that flame your arent a jedi and the people that are do it 1 of 3 ways 1 holo grind 2 the faction farm where things spawn in like 2 sec or 3 nade grind (most people do it 1 of the 3 ways) and when people flame you just say oo im a jedi and your not hahaha /dane
