I can't believe that there is no documentation on this stuff, the devs do stuff a great job putting out documents explaining all the skills.

26 August 2003 - Devs make their first detailed promise to overhaul the Smuggler profession.

27 September 2004 (03:10 PM) - Smuggler_Caylin tells fellow smugglers that he is stepping down as Smuggler Correspondent.

23 November 2004 - PillowTech switches to World of Warcraft.

Does getting luck increase the chances of getting an exceptional weapon?

The only way to increase the chances of getting an exceptional weapon is to a)kill lots of things, which causes b) more money in your bank accout, so you can c) go buy an expensive one.

While some people have claimed to get slightly better dropped weapons after getting the luck line, none of them have ever compared to what a master weaponsmith can make.

this is anyone's guess as to what it does, ive read carrying a rare artifact in your top level inventory helps makes you loot better things

ive head nightsister force crystals in your inventory help you loot better things off nightsisters

Same thing with singing mountain clan crystals

the devs never gave a real breakdown of what luck does and how well it works, if they said "you have a 20% chance of looting a better item" people might pick it up, and since these skills cant be dropped, no one wants to "test it" really lol

haha you guys are so funny. i wouldn't mind a serious answer to this as well, as i've heard from some ppl that it only affects the money, but not the loot. is this true? i'd imagine it would be kind of hard to confirm this really... maybe if a FS-luck and a non FS-luck person killed 500 stormies and compared loot afterwards...
