I showed up late for an attack, and wasn't able to get in to a group, so I spent the last ten minutes reviving people and getting a feel for the way things work. After the attacks were over, a group let me in (because I could heal) and we waited for the next round. I finished the quest after that upcoming round. Easy as pie. Three tips:

-The SECOND you scroll through the targets and see the word "Pirate", you bust ASS over to that enemy and start killing it. They are hard to come by, and are basically the reason why the mission takes some people a long time. I would guess that during the entire attack, there's probably 200-250 "regular" Sith and only 50 or so "Pirates", so it's important you go for them at all times.

- Do not AoE attack, although this should be obvious now. Enemies will be almost constantly attacking you for 30+ minutes already. You don't need to encourage them any more, or you'll be in the dirt for most of the raid.

- To prevent being in the dirt, if you have some available skill points, I HIGHLY suggest you pick up some healing skills, OR spend the money on Stim Ds. Believe me, it's worth it. I didn't die once during the raid (while some people died multiple times), and when I had four of them on me at once, my Master CM skills somehow kept me alive and able to kill the multiple enemies hitting me at once. Ifyou can't afford it, stay near a CM (make sure your group has one).Improved Bacta Spray is very nice for healing an ailing group, and by the time the next Phase IV rolls around, CM heal hate will be decreased, so they don't have to worry about using IBS and getting 20 Sith on their ass.

Good luck! Oh, and don't ride your vehicle in to the Village, EVER, during Phase IV. Approach on foot from 100m out. Trust me. =/

OK....if phase 3 starts on the 19th (on Kauri) and ends 3 weeks from then...when will phase 4 probably start?

With dedicated grinding and quest completion I can have initiate within 4 more phases.

Problem is: I have a 3 week vacation starting on August 11th. And I really want melee defense.

Do you think I'd have enough time to kill off enoughsith?
