Thread: Jedi, shmedi... I don't care anymore.

Thanks guys for the responses.. most of them
I honestly expected to get more of a negative reaction to what I posted and I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I played a lot more of the game today and I'm trying my darndest to figure out some other stuff to do. I spent a good portion of my day going out site seeing to areas I'd never bothered to check out and it was fun. The relieve of stress to grind quick and go back to the village to convert the xp is very nice. I think now my current goal is to get every dang badge I can.
I just hope that I can continue to find stuff to do that's original and exciting...
Thx guys for the support, and to the one who was unhappy about me posting - it's cool. I know that these types of threads are no fun to read through but I hope you saw my point as to why I made it. I would think most people would like to express their opinions so that's why I did it.
OMG GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND LEARN HOW TO SPELL!

Is that really necessary? I don't remember asking for a spellcheck on my post. I know that some younger people might play this game but try and be a little mature if you're gonna post in my thread. Thanks.
Thanks Death!![]()
And I'm very much a man.. at least my lady thinks so ![]()

You people do realize that combat xp is not the only type of xp that can be converted at the village right? Or did I just tell you something you didnt know?
you also realized that the reduction in combat xp being changed basically doubles our grinding time? so instead of taking 2 weeks for those who cant grind 24/7, it now takes em a month.
To the OP. Man, I can feel your pain. I am a very casual gamer, especially as of late. In fact, it's gotten so bad that my wife and I have switched roles, LOL. She used to hate the game, and I would play all the time. Now, I am always too busy to play, and she plays all the time. Go and figure.
Anyway, I know it can be frustrating and all, but instead of quitting the game, why don't you take a break from the FS thing. Without grinding incessantly you will one day fill all the FS xp you need. Just an occasional village trip now and then. Actually, I got alot of xp from phase 4. I spent 3 weeks at the village, and just converted my xp each day. It really is a great way to get the xp thing done, and it's alot of fun.

Wow, quit making posts about quitting the FS grind. Seriously, what signifigance does it apply? What did you think you were going to do when you bought SWG? An MMORPG? Have everything handed to you?Oh and just for clarification, this isn't directed to you only, it's a general thing.Message Edited by HavykOusrik on 08-02-2005 05:00 AM
Little boy, little boy, go back to school and learn how to spell. To the Original Poster: I hear ya man, from what our guildies say about Jedi, it's really not all it's cracked up to be either... You start out as a novice padawan so completely gimped as to be almost gated from getting anywhere without going completely against all canon for this time period. A lot of people just have it in their heads that being a Jedi is really "all that" but from what I've seen and heard for the majority of people it is a major let down after all the work they put into it just to get there.
Anyway, Take it easy.

Actually, you did. "signifigance", as you put it is spelled "significance". I'm not here to flame though. It's just that "mispell" error was too good to pass up.
