I solod my way to fs.Heck I was unguilded and not alligned with a faction either. Its just too easy. I also was cl 80 when that happened becasue i knew to be that cl to prepare for the sith attack. I can understand a crafter needing to get some help but if your a combat prof you should stop thinking of getting fs and get to cl 80 1st. On a side note I was also able to solo the sith attack, encampment, and my 1st 2 unlocks at the village. In phase 3 if you do the capture the commander quest you will need help but most of the quests you can do solo without too much of a problem.

I soloed everthing for glowie. very easy. The only time I was not solo was when I did the warren ( not because I needed the firepower but because I needed a guide to get me out. LOL. I got lost inside and could not find my out.

i solo'd everything to get fs "pre cu"...then cu hit and all hell broke loose

I also soloed my way to force sensitive. It is easy and my ultimate goal is to have a Jedi toon, eventually. I have four unlocks currently but I am not rushing to finish the village. I unlock a tree and then leave the village to do quests and try to get loot. Next phase, I do the same. Unlock branch, leave village, do other SWG things. After I get the sixth unlock, I'll be trying out piloting for a while. Right now, though; my focus is on getting some new weapons on Mustafar for my template.

There are a ton of great guilds out there that don't expect you to be online 24/7. I'm married, kids, full time job and play when I can. If your going Jedi I'd get CL80 first since if you rush through the content and get your visit from the old man the sith that ambush you are going to wipe the floor with you. I gotglowy pre CU but took a break and when I came back I had to master another combat class to survive. Just keep having fun and remember, the rebel themepark is the longest and most boring.

Oh yeah, I've soloed everything so far except I needed help on walking the commander to the village. That takes a group or a person more powerful then I to solo but I'm sure it can be done.

well one eas way to start it off...do all the treelo keelo quests or w/e his name is...you get like 4 quest badges..get all of the POI's takes 1-2 days unless u play it streight through. then warrren nyms, naboo library...i dunno? seems easy enough

I don't get to play as regularly as I'd like, so joining a guild and being an active member isn't really feasible for me. This of course poses a problem when I'm looking to group with people to complete some of the theme parks.

Currently, I'm a 19th level, master scout and am working towards Teras Kasi novice (4040 brawler). I'm also set up to go rifleman as I'm a 0004 marksman. I'm working on rebel pilot too...I've always wanted to fly an a-wing.

The only badges I have left to obtain are content related (I'm checking at "You feel the Force surge within you."), but I just don't seem to be high enough level to take down the opposition. For example, I'm doing missions for Leia out of the hidden rebel base on Corellia. Currently, I need to to rescue a captive from 2 stormtroopers and escort her back to the base. The troopers are coning at 25 and pretty much take me down on sight.

Do I just need to grind up a few more combat levels, maybe get an elite profession so I can wear some armor, or is there something else I'm missing?

Jedi has been my goal from the beginning, it's the main reason I bought the game. Any help or advice is appreciated.

At CL19 you won't stand a chance against the Sith thugs/pirates even if you were able to get to glowy. As others have said, get to CL80 whilst having fun, by the time you do, they should have fixed the bug preventing people from getting glowy. You will be in a far better position to solo your way to Jedi apart from Phase 3 Melee Accuracy quest and the Exit quest (kill Mellichae)
