yea there are multiple spawns when the shild goes down. you have to wait till they all despawn which takes a bit then u rush in as fast as you can get the cammander and wait for them to respawn then despawn agan, also if your breinging him back and a sith gets to close he commits suicide.

lets see took me about 10 times doing this mission to finally get it completed. and here's what i found out. you all are very close to understanding but i think i found out something slightly different.
you don't even have to kill the 5 sith. teh commander spawns if the person who drops the shield dies. if the shield dropper clones however he will not get reward in the end, so have a rezzer ready. but heres the trick. it seems that once the shield dropper dies, the group has 1 hours to take the commander back to the village. since this is a short ammount of time try to only attack the bases closest to the village like xi and epsilon. after i figured this out i was able to ocmplete the mission 5 times in a row with 5 diff groups of 4 people. its a lot easier because you don't have to kill 5. all u have to do is wait for the sith to despawn, sneak in, capture. more sith will spawn outside. stay there in the very back wait for them to despawn, then run for dear life.
