Thread: hope for part time grinders

Cause this is my fourth character and secondly I havent really ever made any good friends to enjoy this game with sadly. Yes a few people back in the day on my old accounts, had some fun with them. I made this char souly to achieve padawan, and hopefully join a guild with some jedi and have some fun. So getting the work out of the way is much more ideal. When you talk about earning jedi its a grind, atleast for me. Currently I am a TKM/Master swords....ive been and mastered these profs atleast 3 times. This game isnt getting any great content anytime soon, so I am rather bored with the usual proffessions, but hey thats just me. I figure if you get it done now, it doesnt seem like work to log on everyday and get that little xp.
I spent about 3-4mil on the grenade grind, all of which was earned back in teh sale of loot not a week after. Even now I find the games so called content boring. Even if people gave to sh*ts to ask me to go looting its not like the spawns are even worth going out to Dathomir or Krayt graveyard for. Why do people act so happy with the game right now. Do you realize how many people are still here only for the HOPE of becoming jedi sometime soon, and acheiveing it as easily as possible. It may come in teh same amount of time as far as how much you can earned by so and so date. But in the end you are putting in way more time then any Grenade Grinder. I guess it is a matter of personal preference. Im a loner and I take pride in earning things fast, guess its the only thing that keeps me still playing. I cant help the fact that friendships in this game revolve around being in a guild, and the fact that this char is a month and half old and i got a total of 2 guild invites. Dont mean to rant and go off topic, just this game is slowly dieing and for some jedi is the only life left in the game for them. I think the CU will be a big factor in the future of SWG.

Why thanks.. I one of them who switched over to nades. And no, I'm not sad. Just want to have it over with that boring village grinding. And another no, I don't have to ask myself, why I play/spend money for SWG. You seem to me kind of arrogant, that you even make such a statement and judge other peoples way to play.

LMFAO, All I can do is laugh at the original poster.
Look dude if you wanna do it that way, fine. But in all respect, grenades is the best way. You get 60k FSXP per day you say, lol man, I got 500-700K in a buff session using grenades.
Btw, as for your approach on, you can have more time to do what you want blah blah. Guess what, I finished the FSXP grind in just over a week, COMPLETLY. Guess what I been doing since then, Collecting Crystals, And Pearls (Which I have more than a hundred now). Also collecting evertying my jedi will need to get going easily. Now THAT is time well spent. So continue on with your petty way of doing the grind, but do not try to presuade others to do it your way because your way will drive most people crazy going to the village twice a day for 60K exp.

Grenades are the fastest way, not necessarily the best.

Maybe nades are fast, but what do you do while you wait for next phase?
With a pitiful 60k fs xp it takes 21 days to fill a line, wow, it's just what you have to wait for next phase!

yes but i dont exactly like to just grind everyday
while im waiting, hmm what should i do ? i dunno i guess gathering crystals and pearls is useless

dude you dont have to do that look under the commands if there is a throw command put it in your toolbar and it auto selects a group od nades to use
if not make a macro that uses the /throw command and you wont have to drag or anything

They eventually will get bored or go crazy and switch to grenades. Its all a matter of time. I honestly dont see what you can do everyday to make 60k FS XP and still say your having fun. Hunt rancors in a group and chat? wow, thats def worth doing for 120 days. Just be realistic your doing 5 times the work your way, and you are still intentionally trying to get FS XP.
But hey, no sense in bumping this retarded thread anymore

Actually not retarded, and I have found a solution that works for me.
Run more than one toon is a possible solution. I run 4 and have a ball doing crafting / surveying / merchant stuff when I get bored with the combat.
Also, to ease the combat grind, I have saved my JTL trees. I use JTL as my bordom breaker for my combat toon. I have also taken to hunting when the price / animal output are a good match. You can easily make a million credits hunting the right resources.
Anyway, this is how I am coping.
