I wish my template would let me use nades, but i dont, right now i use MTK,MSwrods i can cap thoes out twice per buff session, Go trade in then do it all over again, it takes me a long time but i dont really feel like letting the grind take control of me, im doing it at a slow fun pace. If you do decide to Use Melee prof. then i suggest using Mswords, and M Pike, If you are gonna do a tripple prof then add MTK to that. Fencer is good too but seems slower than the other 3.

Im master sword master fencer , Capping sword and then fencer on endor killing everything in sight yeilded me around 120-150k force per buff Using c-12 with pups I was getting 200-300 k force within the same amount of time give and take me going afk and such so without going commando it is at least 2x as fast and with commando a hell of alot more then that.

Nades is a lot faster but way more expensive even more so if you add PuPs to them. In one buff I was able to get 450k+ FSXP easy. The downside is the cost. Not only are you paying for nades by the cratefull but PuPs and replacment armor as well. I have gone thorgh so much armor is it outragious. But since the Solo group "nerf" it is harder to get the cred to get the nades.

one thing i will say in that nades are not any faster then regular way, because you still have to wait 3 weeks for the next unlock, why not spend that 3 weeks doing to something to advance in the force sensitive quests....
Besides, you'll need your money as a jedi, because when i started the jedi grind after my padawan trails, i had 15 million credits, i am down to 3.5 million, and all that money was spend on crystal/pearls....so don't waste your money before you really need it because you lightsaber won't work without crystals and unless you have tonnes of premuim crystals/pearls stockedup. you won't get good tunes(or good stats from the crystals)

I've done a full tree with melee professions and 3 trees with nades - I was thoroughly against nade grinding until I had done 1 and a half tree with melee but changed views. Why? Becuase if you can afford nades you can spend all those lovely buff sessions actually having fun. Once you've killed your umpteenth Baz Nitch or whatever you hunt you are going to be sick yo your stomach of watching your toon spam area attacks not to mention the 10-15 minutes it takes to travel to the village *every* time you want to cash in 60k FSxp.
Just to put things in perspective, a couple of days ago me and 3 mates went Krayt hunting and in three hours we killed 12 Krayt, got six pearls and a nice set of scales - That is one pearl each for 15k plus the additional ones that we could sell or give to some other mates. Why should I save my few millions for buying pearls when I can use the time I'd otherwise grind FS to gather them myself?
There is no arguement against nade grinding *if* you can afford it. If you don't have millions banked from the pre solo group nerf I suggest you do it with melee weapons.

If you're like me, I started to spend 2-4 MIL on nades and did like 2 trees or something. Then thought I should talk to our uber WS (Makin) about making them. He was against it cause nades (esp protons - I'm master) are hard to make and have many components. But I made him a deal if I could gather the resources, then he would make them.
Since I belong to an amazing guild, I was able to get the resources in a matter of 30 mins. 40 crates coming right up!! In 1.5 weeks they were made and I was out...........................................$0.
Try this way and you'll prefer the nade way. But try to take breaks and do other stuff in between or you WILL BE SICK to your stomach and sick of spamming nades. hah
Oh and about the waiting time........I'm making my Padawan template while I wait....and hunting krayts and getting pearls myself! Having a lot of fun too I might add.
Hope this helps.

that just doesn't sound fun at all, I'd rather play tetris than doing this
I'm going the pikeman "regular, slow, playing" way don't care if it takes months, at least it's months of fun and not boring weeks that look more like a job than a game.

bah... you people and taking the "slow" way... Do you not realize that the CU is coming soon!!! And once the CU hits, who know what it will do to grinding exp as we know it? Us nade users will be flingin our sabers while you "slow and easy" fs grinders are wondering why you didn't use nades in the first place... I've been using nades almost all my fs grind (except for one fs box) and im glad I have been. I now do two buffs of nade chucking a day (unlocking last branch in the next phase
), so around 400-600k fs exp a day (I use powered up thermals) and so far, about 4 or 5 days, i've gotta 2 full branches and am I box away from 3. "Should I use nades?" thats the dumbest question i've ever heard! If you can aford em, buy em!It's well worth the cost. And if the nerfing of solo groups has caused you to have money troubles, go on a loot hunt
Try lord nyax, ns elder, krayts, geo lab, even stormies for them holos! Or you could do what I did for alittle while... go ws 0044 and make your own nades
Oh well... If you'd like to do it the "slow" way anyways then that's fine with me! One less Jedi to compete with
And umm... anyways... Good luck fs grindin! And may teh force be with ya'll

this is crazy, ppl spend millions buying nades just for grinding faster....read this: only with 60 k fs xp per day u will unlock Jedi in the exact time the phases take to switch, 3 weeks per tree, no need to hurry or spending money, just 2 hours per day and u will get in the sooner its possible, i have just started, only 1 unlock, i wont be a jedi until June, no matter iuse nades or just TKM, think on this guys, u spend milllions on nades...and u wont become a jedi sonner than me, the only difference is ill have millions to spent on crytals and pearls, and u wont have any $

SITHY123 most likely used powered up imp dets, because I know for a fact that you can't get over 400k fs exp in 3 hours with powered up thermals(I use pu'pd thermals myself) And it's not protons because no one uses em... lol gotta be master commando and with that you gotta get tkm for the 5.5k combat cap, but then your left with nothing

Good point. The only difference for me is RL, where I have unlimited amount of time for the next couple weeks, then I will have to borrow someone's computer to get on to unlock a phase as it comes and that will last a few months till I can start playing regularly again. But without a situation like that, no one has really any reason to try and get it done as fast as possible. Nades are just the FotM.

Took me 4 buffs as a TKM/Swordsman to get 3 boxes in one tree. Last night, in the hour left on my buff, I got a full tier 1 box. 'nades are staggeringly faster. And as for armor, just find an armorsmith in your guild to repair.
Grenade grind = 2 weeks for the FSXP, 1 set of comp armor and about $5-6mil in grenades
Combat grind = 2 months for the FSXP, no armor if you don't want to, and little money
Personally, my RL time is more important than digital $
