if you were me , would you wait for phase 3, then 4, then wait for 3 again to finish? or just pick up ranged accuraccy now and be done with the whole thing with phase 4? so far i got melee speed, luck, and vehicle control

It's just that we're tired of answering this question...
You cannot surrender Padawan, you cannot surrender the FS skills you use to get Padawan, it may be possible to pickup a 7th branch and then drop another, this is currently being tested and reported on in the jedi forum but we have no answer yet.

Tired of answering the same question? Isn't that what keeps these forums going? I mean, how often does someone come up with a COMPLETELY NEW question? I read the FAQ and the stickies and didn't find an answer, so I decided to ask here. I'm sure someone else will ask this question again next week. And guess what, I'll help them out. I'm also sure that next week I will ask yet another question that has been asked a thousand times and I would hope that someone here would answer.

Sorry to bug you guys here, but you'll be the ones to ask lol.
I've read the guides, the posts and asked tons of people...here we go:
When you arrive at the village you need to do quests for skills. There are 16 Novice Skills in total that you can learn. Each Novice Skill acts like it's own "profession" meaning it looks like this:
Master
1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1
Novice
Now..my question do you need to learn and MASTER 6 different Novice Skills (6 Novices + 16 branches x 6 times + 4 Masters)...
Or, do you only need to learn 24 individual skills along the skill branches (In theory, you'll only need to learn two novice skills (2 Novices + 4 branchesx 6 times)) to begin your quest for Padawan?
For those who are still confused..here's a lil diagram..does Padawan begin after this:
Master
1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1 X 6 (Which equals 6 Novices, 6 Masters and 96 individual Skill Slots)
1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1
Novice
Or does it begin after this:
1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1 (Which, in theory is 2 Novices, and 24 individual Skill Slots)
1-1-1-1 1-1-1-1
1-1-1-1 1-1-1-1
Novice Novice

you need 6 branches, not trees branches.
so for example lets say you did 4400 combat prowess, thats 2 branches since u do 44xx. now then lets say u like heightened senses and did 4434, that would only equal 3 branches, since the xx3x isnt a full branch.
hope this clears things up a bit.

Ahh ok, so it's more/less setup like this:

Then I could start Padawan?

6 trees.
at nerf9 conversion i chose these full trees:
1 melee speed (irrelevant with master sabers i now realize)
2 melee accuracy
3 ranged defense (hmm, 20 ranged defense...sometimes low level critters spit and miss me...if i'm driving past)
4 melee defense (same as above)
5 experimentation (don't get an extra point to experiment but after i make a saber i look at it and say, "that was really great...i mean that was REALLY great")
6 luck (i guess i should gamble at the hotels more?)

If I have 125 Melee Defense and 125 Ranged defense in addition to another +25 in attachments, will the extra ranged and melee defense help?

alright i know when u hit initiate those skills u got from the quests are the skills u get...plain and simple but (i may have answered this question with my previous statement) say u unlcok another branch B4 unlocking jedi...can u still go up in that tree? and when do ur skills lock ? when u get ur next character slot (padawan)?
