Should igo ahead and get the free unlock now? orshould iwait till next phase or wait five Phases till it comes around again.
Also, I completed 2x holo professions and got One unlock. Does that sound right?

Thanks for puting this guide togehter and its good to see everyone taking part and asking good questions. Allot of work went in to this.
I like many others jumped in with both feet opening my free unlocks and, running up the branches, oh well, at least I have a couple of branches completed, now its grinding and waitng on the next phases, I have no problems with this, I just work the grinding into my everyday play, I will be a Jedi like my father before me, good luck to all and thanks again for this forum.....

The guide says only 1 quest can be undertaken at a time, but I guess with the unlocks that changes? So technically I would be able to do 5 or 6skills at a single time if I had all the unlocks?

You can use your free unlocks immediately, regardless of how many you have, and, you can use them on whatever you want.
You need to plan out what you need, first use unlocks on any skills where there is more than one wanted from that Phase, then work your way back from Phase 4.
For example, imagine you had three unlocks, and wanted these skills:
Village Phase 1: Heightened Senses: Persuasion
Village Phase 2:Combat Prowess: Melee Speed
Village Phase 3: Combat Prowess: Melee Accuracy
Village Phase 3: Enhanced Reflexes: Ranged Defense
Village Phase 4: Combat Prowess: Ranged Speed
Village Phase 4: Enhanced Reflexes: Melee Defense
First, do the ones in red. If you don't, because of the limitations on the number of skills per phase, you will have to wait for Phase's 3 and 4 to come arounda second time to unlock the second skills, adding 12 weeks to your unlock time.Unlocking the skills from Phases where you want more than one skillfirst removes weeks from your wait.
Village Phase 1: Heightened Senses: Persuasion
Village Phase 2:Combat Prowess: Melee Speed
Village Phase 3: Combat Prowess: Melee Accuracy
Village Phase 4: Enhanced Reflexes: Melee Defense
Your final unlock would go on the skill you would do last, as this will remove another three weeks from your wait. If you had another unlock, you would unlockPhase 3's skill, and if you had a fifth, you could unlock the skill from Phase 2.

I thought I would throw in an example of what I have done and what I am doing.
Got the old man to visit.
Next day Sith attacked looted disk for waypoint.
Went to waypoint and killed the Sith in the camp. Looted disk for waypoint.
Went to Dathomir, open data pad for waypoint and activated the Villiage waypoint.
Got to the Villiage, you have to talk to Peamos, so I did.
I had some free unlocks coming to me so I chose the next to last option. (Don't recall exactly what it says)
It said I had two free unlocks, so I chose to unlock "Combat Prowess: Ranged Speed".
I then went directly to the trainer (Forgot his name).
Trained all the boxes up in Ranged Speed.
Went back to Peamos and unlocked the "Hightened Senses: Melee Defense" line.
Went back to the trainer to train.
Trained all the boxes up in Melee Defense.
From there I knew I could unlock one more in Phase 1, so I went to the Villiage Elder.
Asked him about Defending the villiage and he sent me to Capt. Sag.
Talked to the Cpt. and he sent me on my way of doing the patrol points.
You will go back and forth from the villiage doing the patrol points 10 times.
This will then unlock the "Combat Prowess: Ranged Accuracy" line.
Now its just an xp grind so I can train up in Ranged Accuracy.
Then I will wait for Phase 2 and do Vehicular Control.
Phase 3 I will do Ranged Defense
Finally in Phase 4I will do Crafting Mastery: Repair.
That is my path to the Padawan trials.

this is my desired path. if anybody knows how i can make it shorter by switching what i learn and when, let mek now
phase 1-learn combat prowess (mistake i know, didnt know any better at the time) no desirable boxes, reflexes yet
phase 2-combat prowess (melee speed)
phase 3- enhanced reflexes (ranged defense)
phase 4- enhanced reflexes (melee defense)
it then recycles
phase 1- nothing i desire
phase 2- enhanced reflexes (vehicle control)
phase 3- comat prowess (melee accuracy)
phase 4- nothing i desire
recycles once more
phase 1- nothing i desire
phase 2- heightned senses (luck tree)
any ideas? at this rate, at 3 weeks a phase, itll take 27 weeks roughly for me to reach initiate. any shortening tips? im master swords/master fencer/master brawler/4-0-0-2 tka and right now 1-0-0-0 scout and dont feel like going commando. just need to know if i can move anything around to shave a few weeks off.

I think those that had only ONE free UNLOCK got a little confused

, from what your saying:
1. I could just as wellput my 1 Single freeUNLOCK in anything and it would not matter, onlyif* i do one of the available unlocks per phase each phase for 5 phases. I would have6 trees completedin 5 phases?
Other Questions, me and some have on my server:
2. You might have covered this but I couldnt find it
-->Convert Exp to FS exp Can you do this without a tree or Novice unlocked and keep the FS Exp?
example, igo in village andstart converting more and more exp into the Senses until say it wont take anymore? Maybe it will poof or something when you train in novice or start your tree? Or say i have novice and finish One Tree, and then keep adding more and more FS exp. I guess the question is will it still be there when I train in novice or unlock the next tree?
3. Say you train in Senses tree Phase 1 , do you have to wait to complete that tree before you train in a Senses tree in Phase II?

Does it not seem odd,to achieve Enhanced Reflexes - Survival, with bonus to camping/foraging/mask scent/creature harvesting/creature knowledge/trapping/terrain negotiation, it does notallow the conversion of scout/trapping/survival/creature handling experience points? Scout, trapping, and survival experience relate directly to the benefits of this skill and two lines of scout are required for creature handling! It just does not make sense

This is just my personal opinion, but I don't care what I unlock really. The melee defence, speed and accuracy are allI am concerned with, after that, I just want to unlockas fast as I can.

Thanks for the awesome guide. I thought I had to master all 4 branches. Good to hear the grind to get to initiate isn't as bad as I thought. One of the branches I used for my holo of crafting assembly because I thought I'd have to master it anyway. Can I drop that and get melee defense instead for example. In other words, once I have 6 can I not train any more boxes?
