Okay folks, seriously - it's just a bug. The prereqs did not change, it's a bug with the glowy system.

Frankly, I'm surprised it took this long for them to finally break something in the glowy system. Think about all the other game mechanics that have been broken since Publish 9. It was just a matter of time.

The Devs have enough in their laps with a new expansion and reworking commando and squad leader - do you seriously think they're going to bother experimenting with adjusting the glowy system at this point? With an expansion looming? I guarantee that now that Publish 24 is pushed to Live (in all it's buggy and ill-conceived glory), the exclusive focus is polishing Trials of Obi-Wan.

Besides, those who are saying that the Devs haven't acknowledged this, haven't responded, and so forth have NOT read this thread.

were you ever glowly or did you just get to that stage?

If so I suspectthat the prerequistes have been "enhanced"

Like I said I am only faint now (from glowly) and I am launch with 100+ badges.

What we know so far:

• People have lost Glowy even if they did not have Jabba or Corvette badges (you can get without)
  
  
  
  • this means that the removal of Jabba's palace is not directly related
    
  • this means the loss of the ability to get to the corvette was not directly related either


• People have lost Glowly even if they did not have the beginner quest badges




• this means the loss of weight to these badges is not directly related


• You can still get a visit (to go to the village) if you are not glowing but previously were
  
  
  
  • you also get to be beaten by the sith after the old man
  
  
• You can do the exit quest when not glowing and get Jedi
  
• You can still convert xp at the village if you could before
  
• you can still train if you could before
  
• not a single Jedilost glowly status
  
• it happened when pub 24 when live
  
• people have reached glowly status after pub 24
  
• old man does show up if you finish your 6th column
  
• Yes we do know it is on live <--- figured I would make this explicit as every one seems to be missing it


• people who were not glowly but did all the badges thatpreviously were required still do not glow and have not been visited by the old man for over 72 hours.


• It is not the date the account was created (so no it is not those with older accounts vs younger accounts)

what is not known:

• can you get the exit quest old man visit from the village
  
• what caused the loss?
  
• Why some people fell further then others with the same badges (Am at faint but have90% of thebadges in the game)?

Speculations that have been raised:

• jabba's palace badge issue (provisionally disproved)

• beginner quest badges (provisionally disproved)
  
• exit quest change has been suggested (provisionally disproved)

You didn't loose force sensitivity at all... they just stealth changed the way it's read.

My friend infact was stong with the force and got a visite from the old man and after getting padawan he was glowie.
