Vary wierd... I can use Thermal Detonators - they are same dmg type (blast) as C12 but more dmg per hit liste - except they don't hurt the gaping spiders at all?!?! Wth?

Yes this problem also happens with most Huurton lairs, whether Stalker, Matron, etc. Often a few babies or Huurton Pups will spawn, resulting in lower XP. When this happens kill them with your normal weapon, so that you are not wasting grenades on low XP.
Yes, but babies often only give less than 1k. This lair was filled more than half with females and they give less than 4k maximum while a real piket longhorn gives 5.5k.

That doesnt mean that you are certified for them. You can use a DE-10 Pistol at novice marksman, but you wont be doing any damage at all.

As already been stated:
* When a monster dies, the combat queue empties up so pre-queued actions wont happen
* There are no /throw action
This means = Grinding Macro with Grenades is not possible.

i just use a macro to automaticaly throw gernades, its kinda tricky if u dont know when to stop it, throwing gernades is bugged, ul keep throwing it even though u cleared ur combat que.
btw i usualy get 3k xp per hurton, and i only kill 2/3 of their life, ive yet to kill one entirely with gernades, since i ran out of them halfway through. but they really give 5k xp each if ur master melee?
and how gernades do u go through on each lair? in the pack of 5 it comes in.

It depends on the type of creature you are killing. A Huurton Stalker will give me the full 5k Combat XP. And as for the amount of grenades that you go through, it really depends on your grenade quality. But using C-12's, most people will go through a whole crate per lair.

mines at 1200 damage max. so its pretty good stuff. i found giant baz nitches pretty good, they seemed to give better xp faster, and its on the same planet as the village.
