Thread: Using C-12 Grenades for FS XP - A Guide UPDATED FOR CU!!
Now another tip (that to some might be obvious) - I uncrate (yes double clik on crate , the 6 nades (5 each) and 6 Pups - pup the nades. Than I drag 3 nades on toolbar - in front of it I have the macro to loop click the 3 buttons with /pause 1; in beetween (you prep while on bike , obvious).
I than run up to the lair, slam it a while with my most powerfull attack, when I have 10 mobs out and they are healing it - I activate my macro to toss 15 nades. As they get used up I replace button bar with anohter set of 3 (x5=15) nades. After that I clean up with area attack (Spin2 for TKA). Rinse and repeat.
Works fine in the beginning... but when a spider dies, the combat que is cleansed...
what do you do against BF of more than 500 after 2h???
you unpack another crate of grenades until your buffs are out ... ![]()
Then you go to a medcenter and sit there for awhile, then you find a master musician and master dancer and sit and let them entertain you for awhile...
once you are out of bf/wounds again you repair your armor and get back to the grind. ![]()
I average 1000bf every buff I use grenades...
Great guide, i have tried a little with giant baz nitch and i can cap my combat xp 2 times with a 3:30 buff...only 6 session of grind for one FS branche
I have said it before. Find a Weaponsmith that agrees to produce C12 with crap materials. That will lower your price quite alot, and the damage difference isnt great enough to suggest the 'better' grenades over the 'poor'.
Just a little template question, it's worth surrender novice medic and pharmacology IV for take Novice Commando with Field Tactics IV?
I would say its where you are in your grind.I will stop to use grenades shortly since I am at the point where quick xp isnt required anymore... 3.3 normal caps in a buff session was enough for me to grind very quick for awhile, and now I dont need much more xp to finish my hunt.
There's 21-22 days between a phase, and you need 20,4 weapon caps for one branch. Unless you are way behind you dont need grenades at all. if you have like a week to the next phase and wishes to quickly grind through 1-2 branches, then by all means, skip Medic if you dont need it. Novice Medic can still use overpowered Stiim-B's

Attack Speed ???
Damage Output???
Attack Accuracy (wich doesnt interests on grenades thrown on lairs)?

You know you always target the Lair - not the mob? Hense you target the lair hit it few times and start tossing nades (while lair is still targeted). I don't see how one spider dying affects that...
Also, my newest method (since last night), I toss (30) nades and when stalkers arround me are almost dead - I target each (almost dead) stalker and finish it of (ont-two hits). That makes room for healty ones arround me to attack me - than start chucking nades again... You get some Weps XP instead pure Combat but makes the process faster I think - you cap both before the trip to convert.

Not that I can see. If it does, its not enough to make a difference at least.

The queue is cleansed when you get xp of any kind. Try it out. always happen to me. I found it out when doing a PBA1 script. Very annoying.

2. I am not 100%, but I think you will loose much of your TKA defenses if you have a pistol in hand, so just ignore the "equip no-license weapon" tip for now.

I tried Piket Longhorn recently. While it was fully possible to gather 6-8 piket's around me, I noted that more than half of the spawns are Female which gives lower xp.
(snip)
Yes this problem also happens with most Huurton lairs, whether Stalker, Matron, etc. Often a few babies or Huurton Pups will spawn, resulting in lower XP. When this happens kill them with your normal weapon, so that you are not wasting grenades on low XP.
