talk to peamos i believe , he will let you know that they owe you something .
course i mastered 3 prof. before pub 9 , but cuz i did not use holos i got no free unlocks. 
something about that is not right .

The sticky i really couldn't understand too well when it came to this part..basically, I got my visit from the old man and now I'm waiting on the sith but I am wondering about free unlocks..mastering 3 professions will get you 1 free unlock tree at the village? Or is it something else altogether? If mastering 3 get you one tree unlocked free than you could skip a whole phase couldnt you? Just wondering..thanks

Mastering professions is the old way of getting Jedi... unless you mastered the professions pre pub 9 (a year ago), you won't be able to get any free unlocks...
But yes, if you had mastered your 3 pre pub 9 (the 3 as required to unlock), you would get 1 free unlock in this case...

I was reading in one of the guides about free unlocks, can you still get these? or are they no longer available?

Well if you grinded your holo professions already you can. So new players can no longer get free unlocks.

Unless your char was created pre-publish 9 than you cannot get them.

hold on ... im pre pub 9 , just unlocked my first force sensitive tree .. are you telling me i can still holo grind and unlock a jedi slot? I didn't think i could do that

The ONLY way you can get a free unlock is if you did holo grinding AND unlocked the holo. You CAN NOT do holo grinding anymore. It is done, gone, dead and just a memory. If you did unlock a Holo go to nholdan i think and he will train you.

Unfortunately, I checked with the devs on this one. There are absolutely no free unlocks after publish 9.
