i dont understand why they dont even say anything about whatever is going on with this phase 4 bug

same here did ranged defense last unable to do melee defense

i did melee defense last phase 4 and i had no problem doing ranged defense this time around killing 75 sith again the jo

A bug report and a CSR ticket are two different things...CSR's dont respond to /bug reports...use the crtl+h window...go to customer service...go to search database...then pick any topic and scroll to the bottom and use the 'my question is still not answered let me make a ticket' option....there u will be able to make a ticket that will be read by a CSR and a response will be made when they are able.

Yes this is happening to me as well. On Naritus server, going Combat Prowess 4444, Enhanced Reflexes 44xx. Did ranged defense last cycle and get the Captain "thanks, go get some r&r" response. This is my last unlock like many of you. I did a bug and ticket. My ticket was responded to withina couple of hours. The CSR said that this is a known problem and the devs are working on a fix. They do know about this and hopefully will have a patch soon. I asked the CSR if I will be able to unlock this phase and was told "I hope so."
Considering the huge amount of people this will affect, it would be unwise for SOE to ignore it. I believe that SOE knows this and will have a fix soon...hopefully in the next couple of days. I have been waiting 12 weeks for this unlock, and as long as I get unlocked I don't really care when, it can be 3 weeks from now. If it comes to the end of the phase and still no fix, SOE should reward all those who submitted a ticket with a free unlock. If that does not occur...World of Warcraft will become the focus of my online gaming.

Here is my theory on this, I apologize if it has alrready been posted. for what it's worth:
Melee defense unlockers get no compensation in terms of a gift when the mission was completed. These folks can re-take captain sarguillio's quest.
Ranged speed unlockers got an Aurallian sculpture piece as their reward. These are the folks that can't do the good captain's quest again.
Maybe there is a part of the coding that tries to prevent you from getting the same object over again. This would lead to melee unlockers this phase from taking a mission from Sarguillio again.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
