healer 2xxx at first, u dont really need any saber at the beginning, concentrate on healing first and if a bh comes hit him with your rifle or whatever and heal yourself for 1k!
and btw, u shouldnt call yourself jedi yet!

sabres xx2x is very useful for areaattack groups,
I unlocked 3 days ago and first got sabres xx2x, then healer 2xxx, followed by enhancer xxx2, now I got healer 4xxx and start working on some defender. still got master rifles and some medic in case the nasty bhs come for me

Personally I was TKM during most of my padawan training however, all melee isn't great vs BH for obvious reasons, most say pick up Master Rifleman and keep it as long as possible, bank the jedi xp and keep the rifle. Truth is you won't stand a chance vs most BHs until you're done with your template insofar as using pure jedi skills.

Well first you need to go to the Village on Dath. From there you will need 6 branches. I suggest you get Ranged Defense, Melee Defense, Melee Accuracy, Melee Speed, and Crafting. Make the 6th whatever you want - Vehicle Control would be nice.
If you have already done the Village then what you want first is ALL the Novice boxes. This will build up your force level. From there it is a matter of preference. If you get the ability to Force Heal then you cant Force Run, Craft an uber saber, or deal alot of damage. If you get Force Run then you cant Force Heal, Craft an uber saber, or deal alot of damage. I think you can figure out what i am getting at.
SO, what you want to do is if your non jedi skills are combat skills go for Force Healing or Force Run first. This way if you do get attacked you can still fight back with your non jedi skills and either heal yourself or run like hell by using your new jedi skills.
If you are a Doc or have medical skills then you might want to do the saber crafting branch first so you can use a 4th Gen saber and then one of the saber branches.
Alot pretty much depends on your current skills and YOUR preferences.

I recommend you get ALL the novice boxes first. That's the quickest/easiest way to get the max force point pool & regen to start with.
After that:
xx4x defender (improved aura is a great defense boost)
2xxx healer (infusion for healing over time + 1k heals)
xxx2 enhancer (channel converts health into force)
After that, you'll need to really begin to narrow your template down, see where you want to go. Few jedi find it practical to train up sabers and powers, though some do opt for that. Crystals and pearls for a saber can be difficult to obtain, and powers has a high force point cost (balance coming?).
For non-FS stuff, you need ranged defense. Most BH's have rifleman or pistoleer in their template. Few have melee. I'd recommend getting BE clothes with defense enhancements and the best pistol & rifle you can find for your lvl. I'd recommend picking up xxx4 pistoleer (for root shot) and whatever else in marksman or elite marksman you want. I've survived BH's by rooting them and escaping on my speeder.
You'll want peca thundercloud (drink, ranged defense) and whatever foods you use for HAM regeneration.
If you haven't done so, do the village quest to get the health crystal. It can save you when the BH's come.
Are you familiar with macros? It's a good idea to have macros to quickly switch from saber/robes to BE clothes/pistol, eat foods, aura/infusion, etc. If you're not familiar with macros contact me ingame and I'll try and help you get squared away.
Good luck!
