wow, it takes you 6 hours? better get in better groups, cause i get it in like 3-4 hours.

Its still not hard enough. The devs need to double the required xp.
apparently you haven't tried the new grinding Mr. fulltemp
When people have been boasting that they have gotten Jedi in 1-2 months you guys don't see that as something to at least be concerned about?
I got a Paddy myself, CL5 Master Crafter / Master Shipwright / Master WS, but I am going through it all over again now on a second character who went glowy about 2 months ago. She's got precisely 1 skill trained up so far, and I have no issue with the new conversion changes even though my second character is all combat and will be "suffering" under this new system.
The Devs originally projected the village grind at6 months to a year which seems appropriate for the grind and the length of time I went through doing crafting for FS skills. Obviously when people can do it in much less time something ain't quite right.

what makes you think if they revamp jedi again it will be easier to get? if they revamp jedi its going to make it much harder to get, and longer. If i were you i wouldn't wait for a revamp, since that will screw your chances up even more.
I have been on this game since publish 3, i never wanted jedi really and hologrinding just didn't seem to be worth it at the time, since it seemed like such a bore. When i heard they are going to revamp the way you get jedi into a "quest" based system in publish 9, i got all excited that now getting jedi will actually feel like you are learning the ways of the jedi, not just randomly grinding professions. Well needless to say I was VERY disappointed in the village. the village design is bland and boring, the quests are lame and have no relation to learning the ways of the force, the village just overall sucks.
I quit the game around the same time they release JTL, and went to go play better MMOs at the time. When i came back 3 months or so ago, i thought what the hell and started doing these FS quests again. Now that i'm 1 week away from unlocking finally, i'm glad i did. take my advice, do not wait for them to nerf jedi to hell, unless you have 0% interest in it do jedi just in case. Sure people may say "go enjoy the game dont worry about jedi", but a time will come when you are bored with all the regular professions, and jedi is the only thing you havn't done, like me.
Also, if/when you do unlock jedi, please for the love of god don't be like 70% of the jedi on my server. By that i mean act like a jedi, dont go around waving your saber and saying "pwnt j00 j3di sa|3eR FTW!!" crap outside of theed. Also look like a jedi; jedi that wear camoflague pants, dusters, sunguards, have pink hair and pink hot pants really annoy me.
Anyways, though the task of grinding all that xp, and waiting all that time seems daunting, just do it as a side thing. don't focus on jedi but make sure your FS phase unlocks are unlocked every phase, and grind the xp when you can.
Best of luck to you, and all of those who are still on their FS path.
When people have been boasting that they have gotten Jedi in 1-2 months ..blah blah blah ... I wont bother to quote beyond this old worn outmisinformation.. ![]()
you need .. 6 force sensitive trees to unlock jedi .. those 6 trees are artificialy gated at a minimum of 3 weeks per tree by .. phases
6 trees , 1 tree unlock possibleevery 3 week phase = 18 weeks minimum or 4.5 monthsto get from glowy to initiate
Ideally for Jedi being a melee combat oriented group.. save for the crafter Jedi.. you'll want at the very least ranged and melee Defense and melee accuracy and speed .. the other two are anyones guess and can be debated till the cows come home
in order to get those 4 trees that stand out as beneficial to a Jedi .. you'll need toproceedsimilar tothis if you start on phase one.. this is hypothetical as not everyone will start at phase 1 obviously.. The ONLY exception to this would be players who did Holo grinding and had completed some FS professions prior to what was it publish 9 or publish 10.. some players did start the village with unlocked trees.. but they dont count since youd have to figure in the hologrinding they were being credited for .. anyway
Phase 1 ranged accuracy (or any of the other three available..
Phase 2 Melee Speed
Phase 3 Melee Accuracy
Phase 4 Melee defense
Phase 1 ehh, survival.. or either of the two others available
Phase 2 how about vehicular control.. or whatever
Phase 3 Ranged Defense
Ok so thats 7 phases to get around to phase 3 again.. now you have unlocked thetwo melee combat trees and twodefensive trees and can use anytwo out of the three optional trees to make 6
thats 7 phasesx 3 weeks each= 21 weeks or just at 5 months and 1 week from glowy to initiate .
You'll need to grind every day if not double up onother days of that 4 months and 2 weeks in order to have the converted force sensitive exp to train 6 trees at 1,225,000 fs points per tree .. thats 36,750,000combat/weapons/Medic experience (30-1 conversion)per tree.. all 6 trees will require 220,500,000 .. 30-1 conversion type exp
So long story short , there is and never has been a 2 week glowy to Jedi like so many misguided misinformed people have spouted off (Including Tiggs of all people.../boggle) nor is there a 1-2 month glowy to Jedi like you cited.. anyone who tells you otherwise you cancall Bravo Sierra

You boob, the phases alone keep you from getting Jedi for a minimum of 12 weeks. That's 3 months for someone who can't divide.

forgive me if im wrong, but how often in the films did luke walk around in jedi robes? clothing does not a jedi make...
if someone wants to wear clothing other than padawan robes, and have hair a different colour other than a very basic one, who are you to condemn them for it just because their profession is jedi?
