So I'm at work, and I read they finally "fixed" the group payouts.

Are solo groups still running today despite this? When I get home and go to Dantooine, will there be a solo group to be found? I really hope so, I depend on the groups to pull in the Huurton Stalker missions that are the bread and butter of my FS XP grind.

ive been in 3 solo groups today, all of them disbanded once the people found out that they could make better money running solo missions. This change has hurt my grinding so far today, hoping that the groups will continue for us grinders..

If all you need is the group XP bonus, find a Droid Engineer and ask for an MSE droid with no thing extra.
At a starport, call it, /tellpet group;/tellpet stay
I think it should have no effect on your payout too - gimme 1 hour, and I'll tell for sure - but you'll get the group XP bonus.

It's not the group XP bonus we want, it's being able to pull the higher difficulty missions for the better XP per mission.

Hold up.....There was a nerf for a couple of days. Then it was changed back. Are you all saying the nerf is again in effect?

True, I'll give that - although, you've also got to weigh the costs in how much longer it takes to kill the creature for that extra XP.

Oh, and it does work - the droid has no effect on the mission.
Higher level droids (good combat) may help improve missions too. That will have to wait until sometime tomorrow for me to check

I have never done solo groups for the money. For me, it has always been the xp. The money was a nice bonus.

I think it is a good way that these solo groups will vanish and people go for real groups with teamwork in which they do not need to buff anymore.

I want to see groups again in which tanks, ranged fighters Medics and Docs and CM fight close together in a team without paying 15K for buffs before they start hunting. So it was at the beginning of SWG and I want to have it again.

The solo groups are responsibel for two things:

1.) They had a very negativ effect on the economy...and were the main reason for the inflation.

My char (Master TK, master Swordsman, master brawler) did Rancor missions on Darth (40K credits each mission) and earned million credits in some hours....that could not be the right way. Therefore I stoped playing my other char (Master Armorsmith) because I earned much more money with my fighter.

2.) Solo-Hunting, full buffed in composite is very very very boring!!

Even when you would like to play in a small group you couldn't do it in the past. This is because the payout for each group member is far less then it is in a solo group because the price was divided between all group members. Therefore real groups with teamwork got discriminated against solo-groups. The "real-group players" may not even have the oppertunity to buy an ubese armor because all the solo-groups have raised the prices for all things including armor enormously.

What will happen now....?

Soon the fighters won't have so much money like they had before the solo-group-nerf and are forced to work together with others in a group because doc-buffs will get too expensive for them.

Then doctors will recognize that they do not earn as much as before because their prices are too high and they will lower them. I guess a lot of them will more enjoy to fight in a group taking the part as a healer then sitting in Coronet on the floor selling buffs. (After some time more and more feighters will use the buff-service again but they will search now more often for the help of a team.)

Btw. I also hope that the efficency of buffs will be lowered. It is silly that it is no problem for a mortal to kill 10 Rancors at the same time without getting a scratch. => Swordsman/Medic/TK + buffs = half god

Why should I group with people and hunt together when they will take half my exp... I mean... I see what your getting at... but I am trying to get through this god awful exp grind to Jedi as fast as possible so I can get it over with... I am quite sick of it... the last thing I want to do is have other people taking half my exp... and then splitting a mission payout so I get like 2k... thats just stupid... maybe if they fix things... so it was different... I wouldn't feel that way....

What will happen?

Well, every1 is getting a buff while they can afford it

The rest will stop buying things out of the blue, just when they need something, they'll buy it.

Crafters will NOT lower their prices, why should they.. the used resources were paid very much

and since money is even less easy to come by ....

Harvesters will increase their prices : harvesters need maintenance and power but money isn't

easy to come by anymore.

Basicly .. instead of helping the economy, they really really nerf it. (and I'm not talking about new

players)

... but it doesn't hurt solo hunts since many ppl are grinding for jedi!

Friend of mine told me that it would be very much better if they didn't stop the incoming money,

but increase the outgoing money. Let the money flow faster out of the system.

Now you'll have the effect that imperials and CH's will just join their pet (AT-ST, rancors, ...) and still

get high payout missions.
