Wow, quitting because you don't have the fortitude to kill a few sith to get the shield control? I doubt you'd have the fortitude to grind all the xp needed to fill the boxes once you've completed the quest then.

Not to mention the fact that once you get the shield control, you still what is arguably the hardest quest in the game to complete.

could be because i get bored of doing the same thing 20k times.

I dont call that type of thing content, i dont care about getting a jedi toon.

I care about content, and gameplay, and a bit of fun... sadly lacking is this game atm

fyi

i have filled all the melle speed boxes, unlocked ranged something phase 1( no point filling that as it broken)

and have 560k fs combat to spare, and 50k fs senses xp (gained by healing people)

I see point on investing more time in a game whose gameplay consists of mindless clicking and driving 90% of the time.

IF you think thats hard. You wouldn't make a good jedi. Little bit harder then throwing nades. Can I have your stuff though?

heh, the only quest I have ever enjoyed so far in this game was the melee acuraccy quest, and you call it mindless.

The only quest where you DON'T just do the same thing over and over. It is supposed to be hard, and that's what makes it fun.

If you do it in a brainless fashion; you die. If you have a well laid and well executed plan, you can solo it. Better yet, bring two or three friends and let them in on the fun.

Finally you get a quest that is actually pretty good and you manage to compare it to all the other crappy quests before you even get it started.

And about fighting those thugs, I was tkm/mdoc when I did it the first time around and yeah, I died when I got the code discs. Do you think I repeated it in the exact same fashion? No, next time I watched the siths closely, found out who was strongest and went in with a plan. Getting the frequency discs proved easy.

So I go to do the base, and sure enough, I die again. Do I give up? no, I go back and try again, this time watching what happens closely, and try again quite a few times. Each time I get one step closer. And guess what, when I finally finished it, it was a hell of alot of fun, maybe the best pve I've ever had in this game.

So please, do not call the melee acuraccy quest a "mindless quest" as it is one of the FEW quests in this game that actually isn't mindless.

5 stars for you.

I agree, this quest had my roommate and I straining our brains trying to think of the best strategy to do it with 2 people. It took about 5 or 6 attempts before we pulled it off. That was when we both realized how much fun we had and it was the first real challenge this game has seen in a long time.

This quest was very hard, i had 4-5 people helping me and we all helped each other. None of us left or bailed out on each other till we all unlocked.

I saw people trying to solo these camps and sith and i bet same people on the forums saying its to hard.

It is hard, meant to be hard. You sound like you are going solo at this. Pick up some friends to help, or others running around trying to solo this.

We ended up doing this 4 times for various people in our group- each time it got easier and easier. The last time we did it no one got killed and it took no time at all, minus walking that turd back to the village.

You will need help to finish this.

And what kind of person quits or bails at first sign of trouble. Get your ass back out there and try it again.

Yep, I know how you feel, I was close to canceling last night I was that furious.

To the idiots saying the quest is fun: You think driving around, dying, cloning(Wreckingitems) waiting 30 mins for buffs again, drive back, Rinse and Repeat, is fun?! Get real, the DWB is FUN, its good teamwork and stratagy fun, but this? Bullsh**, the fact we are forced into grouping, yet they want us to kill 5 thugs ourselvesto be able to complete quest, its a fecking joke.

Can somone confirm that 100%? We HAVE to kill(Deal the killing blow) to FIVE thugs to be able to finish quest?!?! Thats fecking insane, the thugs will slaughter you unless you come with a group, but if you do that you won't be the last one to hit him. Not to mention the fact if you do it with another guy doing the quest HE needs to kill 5 aswell. PLEASE tell me I've been misinformed........
