why not bring holo grinding back, it was more star wars basd then "the village" sh*t and you actually had to do stuff besides throwing nades and doing a few quests it took more time and there were fewer jedi, fewer jedi is right for the time period and it would be pretty dificult for newer people to obtain a jedi

the village is better in the sense that there is a definate path to take instead of grinding a bunch of lame professions that you don't want.

well here is teh thing it made jedi literally knwo everythign abotu the game. they had to do crafting, entertain, etc. even when it was macroed and boted. plus i thnk it woudl be more fun than teh monotony of doing the same thign a million times over.



and yes it is slower cuz i can only go so fast. pre-cu i heard a guy unlocked within i week of getting all his boxes with no xp turned in using nades. thats just wrong. im goign on 2 yrs here and i still dont have a jedi. almost, but not quite. but now at least with grouping i am enjoying doing it.

The problem isnt the system, it's the people that gotta rush through to jedi in the first place, holo's got dumped cos people just rushed & macro'd & afk'd their way through them without ever taking the time to enjoy & use the profs, the FS quests & turning in of xp were being grenaded to death, I dont know what the answer is, people pay their £10 so if they wanna jedi & want itNOW who's to tell em stop.


I ended up force-sensitive by accident, never wanted to be a jedi, am enjoying the village quests & looking forward to paddy & knight trials & stuff, I'm not saying that's any better thanwhat anyone else does but I'm still here after a few years & will still be here (probably only a couple more boxes through the FS grind!) in a few years time.

I think the biggest problem with the holo-grinding would be the respec. Although you only get one token, it would still be easy to get at least 1 profession from respec.

Bringing back the game breaking method of getting jedi is the most retarded idea in the world.
