Is it just my bad luck or are the Siths going after our bikes more often? In all my trips to the villiage (2 phase 4's, 6 phases in all), I have lost 1, maybe 2 swoops until recently. I was up there a couple days ago and I lost 2 swoops in a matter of a couple minutes. Pre-CU, they hit my swoop all the time, but it would take at least 2 good hits to disable, now it's 1 hit and bye bye swoop. I only had 2 swoops on that day, so I had to buy one for 50k so I didn't have to 2-foot it or get killed just to get back to Science Op.
Anyone else suffering from this poor luck more than before? Tell me about your sob story...

Seems like they are going after speeders a lot more. Funny story. A friend and I were on our swoops heading towards the village. He was maybe 100M ahead of me. All of a sudden I get this "OMG, something just shot at my swoop! I'm on fire." in my group chat. A couple seconds later, the same thing happens to me. My swoop just explodes for no reason. Guess you had to have been there.

it seems that the sith like to kill swoops more than the NS these days...

I always carry a CRATE of swoops when hunting on Dath. My personal record for a swoop's longevity (or lack thereof) is about 45 secs. Nightsister trashed my swoop, I managed to kill her, I generated a new one, and about 45 secs later and 200m closer to the Science Outpost her friend one-shotted that one.

Actually its not that there going after swoops but there actually using ALOT of AE attacks or cone attack which hit everything and everyone infront of them including swoops. And since Swoops don't have the armor like PCs do there mostly 1-shotted.

i also lost a bike out there but for some reason i didnt destroy it i just stored it and called another from my datapad when i shuttled off dath and called the first one again not remebering it was disabled it came back at 3/4 condition so im not sure if it was a bug on my part or what but im not complaining , if this happens to you you might want to try the same thing before you delete it from your data might just save you a few bucks 8)

Store about 200m away from the village and burst run in. Figured after the third time losing my swoop that I'm a moron for not storing earlier. And of course you can always wait a couple of days because the phase is already over for a few servers and soon to be over on all of them.

I've had to run both ways to and from the village... My swoop got blown by an unknown baddy, and my varactyl just sucked far too much to deal with those hills. I was a master ranger at the time, so i just decided to run it.

Would be kinda nice to have a way to repair these things...
I may just start riding a mount everywhere. Any chance we can get some boosters to mount on our kaadu?

was stupid enough on sunday night/monday early morning to pull out my av21 at the village near the end of a spawn... They blew it up and I killed them all... /cry

That could be interesting. Shove a couple of boosters up your Kaadu's arse and AWAY you'd go!!!
