Not really sure. It'd have to be severely balanced (Look at KOTOR for example - dual wield > *) or it'd become the new FOTM above polearm sabers.

Well pistols and smaller melee weps have been in game forever, and in mass use well before jedi were around. I see people asking for dual wield pistols and such and never getting anything from it..The only thing to put hope into dual sabers would be SOE's jedi love?

Dual sabers would be gay...
nothing would anger me more from a Star Wars feel than seeing dual wielding sabers. It just doesn't make sense. The only place it was seen is Kotor (and that one section with Anakin in episode 2, but that was a very rare incident, and lead to his hand getting cut off).
Dual wielding sabers is a "of the moment" and neccessity thing...I hope they never put it in the game.

I think it should be in the game, but have a massive penalty when used. Accuracy and block should take a penalty and damage would probably be on par with a double blade. Force cost should also take a penalty because it requires much more coordination and stamina to duel wield.

from what ive heard, pistoleers are probably getting dual pistols in the CU, so you never know for the LS....
i seriously doubt SOE would give dual sabers though, i think they are only doing it with pistols cuz every combat prof > pistols

i think the only way someone should be aloowed to dual wield is to acheive a high ranking title thst no one in the ENTIRE game has reached yet making a higher rank mean more than just showboating a title

Despite what people think, duel wielding swords is a defensivestyle. I don't care if it happened for a brief second in one movie. Darth Maul was the only one with his type of saber! Yet, everyone has those and are throwing them around. Why does having 1, 2, or adouble-bladed saber make so much difference, just make them all the same stats and give us the customization of wielding the sabers differently. Besides, there are duel wielders in EP III. General whatever, the jedi killer is one I believe.

Never knew there was 1-handed lightsabres and polearm lightsabres until they were invented in the "prequels". In Episodes 4 to 6, all lightsabres were all 2-handed, since that's how they were apparently intended to be. I could be wrong tho, but why wasn't there any in the movies?
Don't forget, this game is based on Episodes 4 to 6, not 1 to 3.
They are already working on the 1 to 3 mmorpg in secret.
