this is a petition to bring back the Hologrind, this was a much more effective way of getting to jedi, but change it slightly, so that you have to do certain things b4 u can start a 'hologrind' and then you get stated profs from the Old man and the final one which u have to find out yourself you are given a small hint like what area its in eg crafting, combat etc

If you wish the hologrind back please /sign here

Well...With todays combat system and xp I would say that is a bad Idea...peeps change templates with no sweat at all...u can grind 2-3 elite profs on a week withouth any further difficulties. If so you would have to make people that grind for jedi have to do EVERY proffession atleast twice, considering the aomount u need to grind for jedi these days..

Give me a break. I unlocked a Jedi during the hologrind and it was an absolutelyterrible time. People mindlessly grinding one after another profession. Economy in total collapse as there were hardly any real craftsman of any trade to buy high quality goods from. Scoresof friends constantly afk.Towards the endof it most people were doing28 or more professions to unlock. I unlocked on29 myself with the only professions left being image designer, dancerandentertainer and some of the professions were an absolute pain to master. People standing around starports spamming that they will pay to train you so they could gain apprentice points for their next mastery. It was completely unimaginative and there was nobody to actually play the game with because everyone was either grinding professions to unlock or grinding Jedi which in those days was a completely solo venture due to visibility and saber tef. It was utterly dreadful.

The village at least allows you to play whatever professions you want to play without changing your character every few days or hording millions of credits worth of resources to grind the next profession with.

How is that any different from the mindless grinding of today?

Please... enough rants on how jedi should be easier to get, no dev will ever listen to you. Accept the fact that you have to do alot to get jedi and move on... take a deep breath... get yourself a cookie and some milk... sit down at your computer and be a nice grinder like the rest of us.

Bad Idea, the hologrind was a bad idea, and so was the jedi village.

There is a better way.

I much rather see an all quest based way to jedi from FS to jedi master. This would have no xp grinding at all but be very difficult and long. These quests would actually make us feel force sensitive and once jedi feel we are true apprentices on our quest to become a knight or even master. Of course for this to happen they would have to put in place the apprentice/master or knight relationship. Grinding is a mindless fools way of making things. Even put in place the light/dark struggle while trying to find yourself.
