3 days period. If you've been glowie since last Sat he should have been by now. I don't think he will appear in a city so trying wandering around outside and don't fly around on your swoop as you may justfly away from him before you realise he is there.

why is everyone always so impatient about the old man? the stickies clearly state that he will come within 3 days, yet so many peeps start getting all anxious after only 1 day, thinking they're bugged and stuff.
it would be like if you ordered a pizza from dominos and they said it would arrive within 30 minutes and then after waiting 10 minutes you called themback to ask why your pizza hand't arrived yet

it was constructive. i was telling you to be patient. the stickies clearly say 3 days and it can actually take up to 3 days. this same thread has been created in this forum about a thousand times by a thousand different people, yet no one seems to want to take the time to read the existing ones and instead feel the need to create new ones.

NOBODY , NOBODY I KNOW SINCE THE OLD MAN CAME OUT LAST OCTOBER HAS EVER HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN 24 HOURS
Noone , including me in both times that the old man came to me on ym other account, that is right, he came to me within 5 hours of being glowy and 14 hours of getting my 6th tree completed.. just dont respond to this and do us all a favor please

I have to interject on this one, for both sides....
I just recent went glowy and it took 3 full days for the old man to come visit me. I tried everything in the guide to accelerate the process but it did not work for me...
But to play the other side, the guide does state to TRY to get the old man to appear within a day, doa simple set of instructions. I didthese various times over and he never showed. Some people read that and take it as it is written in stone that if you do them, he will appear. I have to admit I did. And I also have to admit I was frustrated, honestly thinking he'll never show.
It is easy for us to get impatient about the old man. We spent a long time (well most of us) to achieve that point, and most want to start the grind asap. It seems silly to wait 3 days on this part IMHO. We get anxious and those who have been Jedi forever might forget that. I was like that, and now I personally feel silly. But it is easy to feel silly on this side of the fence.

As my final word on it, don't worry about the timing. Just play the game as you normally would and he will find you. A week ago I was in your shoes. He came to me the moment I stopped looking (on Rori, placing my harvies). Now I am staring upwards at a very high very long ladder that take a very long time to climb. As long as he and the sith visit before the 6th you won'tmiss anything (approx next phase shift). The next 5 or so months will be spent maxing out your xp and converting it.
