I don't know much about being a Jedi or FS because I have never really been interested in it. I tried to collect holocrons with my first character awile back but I stopped. Now I have a character who has actually become FS, (And not just an inner glow, like I have accually unlocked the FS skill box)
but anyway from what I have been told when you become FS by unlocking a FS box, don't you get a new character slot so that you can have 2 characters on one account on the same server? Is this true?

One you become a Jedi Padawan. (Do 6 full branches, 24 boxes, kill mell and finish the trials.) You main becomes the Jedi and you get another character slot to start brand new on.

I was wondering about that extra slot, can you freely delete that character if you wanted to make a different one and still have that slot to create one? Or is it that once it's deleted it's gone?

I'm sorry, I wasn't very clear on that. I mean if you delete the EXTRA character, not the Jedi.

I've been force senstive for a while, haven't really done any work toward jedi, I'm not really interested in being one.
My question is, once I get to padawan and open the second character slot, does my main "have" to be a jedi? I've never had any intention of my main being a jedi. I just want to be the profession I've been since Sept 03. But I'd like that second slot for the extra character.
Is that possible?
Thanks in advance.

it used to be your main stayed the same and your alt became the jedi however wiuth the new(er) fs system your main has to be the jedi you can always go thru the whole fs stuff all over again and make your alt a jedi but that means competly redoing it all on your alt all the cp badges etc.

Afaik, it is impossible to drop JediPadawan. Therefore, asto get your second character slot you would need to get to Padawan, your main character would always have 24 skill points used up in the FS trees that you would not be able to get back if you decided that being a Jedi was not what you wanted for your main char.
Hope this helps

if you guys want the extra character so bad, just pay the extra 15 bucks a month. its way less painful than grinding out a jedi that you don't even want just to get an extra toon.

My character is going to be a master weaponsmith, armorsmith, droid engineer.... I ground out the whole crafting tree and two senses, about to kill mell and do the trials so I can have my new character for a vendors. I'm hoping the padawan will give me something to stay alive while checking harvies or travelling dangerous zones. It was well worth it for me to grind out those force trees.

And you can have them both on at the same time.
