Thread: Padawan Trials question

OK i killed mell and his camp and was told i can start my padawan trials
so i just found a shrine in n corellia and used the meditate command
it tells me "to properly meditate here, you must do so respectfully"
So am i doing this right, or am i missing something, ive read the facts listed here and they tell the trials, but dont seem to tell you how to get started, any help would be apreciated

I recentlly was accepted to start the Padawan trials 2 times now I have traveled a waypoint to find nothing there but the glowing light is there something I can do to redo this without re-starting the trailand if I re-start more than 3 I do have to start all over correct.....I am 8 into it and starting over is not an Option I had in mind some got any clues out there.....

I think you have to start over from the beginning if you "fail" 3 times... re-startingthe mission is ok... it's the only way to try and get the mission to work without bugs.

Rori missions i hear are bugged... so don't go to rori... ever!

yeh just go back to the shrine kneel and reset the quest, dont click quit padawan 
u can reset as many times as u like, but yes 3 fails and u have to restart.
i had a mission on rori and it worked fine

restarting the trial is not a failure. Answeringwrongly to the questions is a failure.

the only mission i found that were bugged was any on talus and moenia (spelling??) on naboo.. If i was given one of those 2 places to speak to somone i instantly reset the current trial by meditating.

can you imagine the frustration i felt of finally achieving my goal and to be faced with bug after bug after bug 
out of my 16 trials i had 7 bugged missions and 13 resets. CSR's were no help at all, usual response of "I don't know why this is happening, I will gather all data and pass onto the Devs" then close the ticket

One tip I read in a guide: about 50m away from your target, slow down, or get off your bike and walk up to the WP. Once you get there if it doesn't spawn, you're hosed. Restarting, shuttling back and forth, etc, will not work.

I had a couple missions I was trying to do quick and rode my speeder right up to the waypoint. Several times the NPC did not appear and I had to start it over, so I would heed Cytosoul's advice.
Also, concerning mission restarts: I kept restarting till it gave a Planet/City that was easy to travel to. I did most of them on Naboo since Theed spaceport has no wait time. One more thing, the quests can be restarted from any shrine. Good luck!
