I can max out my Two-Handed xp twice in one buff session. When I trade that in I get around 30,000 force xp from combat and 30,000 force xp from two-handed which is 60,000 at a trade. That times 2 is 120,000 force xp fora little over 2 & 1/2 hours worth of grinding. Past that it is up to you how much time you want to spend per day or per week mastering your six trees. As far as the other non combat xp you can trade in, you will have to get another opinion. Hope this helps.

As master rifle/doc, I was able to get 60k FS exp in 45-50mins. At this rate and being conservative, it took around 21-24 hours or 7-8 buff sessions of pure grinding to get one line on average. Now take in mind this is very boring... I just ran around the village killing every thing in sight. Whatever your prof, make sure to check the prof specific forum board for better info on how to do this. For example, I used damaged sliced T-21's and damage power-ups. But this probably goes for everyone... you need to maximize your damage per second (DPS) to minimize the grind time.
I know other use grenades to get a lot more via combat exp, but you need both the grenades and lots of armour (or stay out of the blast radius). This technique will also give you a lot of BF and wounds. Non-grenade techniques (as in any of the melee or range profs) will not endure as many trips back to get these taken care of. I was able to get through 2-3 buff sessions before returing to the cantina.
Good luck and try to have fun!

Friday - Sunday : i barly ever play b/c im parting lol , sometimes i play on Saterday nights when my girlfriend has to work ( say one buff session during these days)
so thats 6 x 4 = 24 + 3 = 27 hours AT least a week

Time doesn;t matter. You have 3 weeks per phase change. You can finish a branch easily in that time. If you want to get ahead of the game cool but either way 3 weeks per phase and with no unlocks you are looking at least 18 weeks no matter what. So do what you feel will keep your interest. The one thing i recommend though is to be at least a full branch ahead of the game so when you are done with your 6th branch you can just train it fully then and there. So like let's say Phase 1 is here and you unlock it and finish the branch in 1-2 weeks. THat last week you can keep grinding it so when the 2nd phase happens you will have that xp to use already and if you keep it up and have that branch ready to go ahead of time for your 6th then you will be done that day =)

People play 6 hours a day..everyday..... O_o!!
Is that healthy? o_O??
>_>
<_<
but anyways, I do about 5-7 buff sessions a week, 1 a day type of deal.
and I had no unlocks and have unlocked 4 branches and filled up all 16 boxes so far.
got enough fs exp to learn the next box, almost 2, so by the time phase 1 comes I want to be able to learn all 4 boxes right away and then bank fs exp so i can do the same in phase 2 andto getmy last branch filled right away then....
On to JEDI whoo hoo!!!!!

I get about 1.5 hours a day 4 days a week for grinding. Friday nights are guild nights so I don't go looney from the grinding. Every once in awhile I get a day where I can get in 1-2 buff sessions. It's going to be a long time for me.

Get a line in 3 weeks easy? If you play 3 hours a day everyday than its not healthy.
But on average if using a regular combat skill it will take about 3 hours a day everyday for 18 weeks (6 phases). That is 378 in game hours or 15.75 days. Thats not including time for traveling/buffing/village quests.
