I know we're going to take a hit in the wallet from this new patch, but from what I read we can still get the xp. I'm placing this post on the FS forum for those who are grinding.Would any flurryians be interestedingrouping on dath so that we may still get the neededexperiance?I encourage the other grinders on servers to do thesame. Thx and good luck to you all.

Payouts from solo groups are going to be nerfed. If you are in a sologroup of 10 people and take a 30k mission and complete it when other players are not close enough to get a payout, you get 3k, the other 9 get 0. It appears that xp will not be split though. Pets will not be counted for higher missions or payouts under the new system.

So you are better off, credit wise, doing the highest level mission you can pull on your own.

Yeah but xp wise and spawn wise, it will still be better to solo group, no? Do you get less spawns if you dont solo group, or is it the same?

You will not be able to get many types of missions without grouping (Jantas, for example). Lairs spawn fewer animals too, if you're not grouped.

What happens if you take the mission in a sologroup and then leaves the group before actually doing them?

Well, money is going to be a lot harder to come by for combat professions. Which means less new armor, droids, weapons clothes, etc which means this is really going to hurt the economy. Should be really interesting to see how this works.

This is going to be a virtual recession and it will feed on itself to a certain extent. If you don't have thecredits to keep fully supplied with armor, weapons, buffs, food, etc, it becomes that much harder to earn credits. The up side to that is the mobs will be easier to kill.

So what do you guys think will be best way for combat players to earn credits, post solo group nerf?

My guess is picket missions out of an improved job market on Dant, or whatever is the equivalent of a picket on Lok? Or do you go to an advanced planet and take mission w/o the benefit of an improve job market.

Or do you hunt NPC on dath for loot. The problem with that is its unpredictable and there are less credits floating around to support the multi million credit prices of some elite loot.

One positive side effect of such a nerf is that faction missions will become a little more attractive relative to normal mission, because the difference between the best normal mission and the best faction mission, athough negative, will be much less.

I do solo picketts on Dant w/ an improved job market. It's about 19K for two missions.

I would think that in order for crafters to match up with the combat players, they're prices would have to be lowered. i mean...if everyone lowered their prices, the economy wouldnt be so bad...it would virtually be the same....its when you have people making crap money, and then you have others charging millions, that the economy becomes unbalanced. simply put, crafters WILL HAVE TO lower their prices to balance the economy, otherwise they wont have consistant customers. Atleast not as consistant as they are used to now.

And if you ask me, this is a good attempt to balance the economy. Leia only got 35k for bringing chewy to Jabba, yet you have to pay an average 200k for decent armor?

I think this all is leading into the combat rebalance. econmy will have to change along with it for the game to remain balanced.

Perhaps eventually things will even out.

However in the short term, the crafters will get squeezed. The best ones have invested in top quality resources, including harverted organics that can be quite expensive. So for stuff made with those resources, they will be reluctant to sell at a loss, but at the same time fewer people will be able to afford those items, so they won't get as many sales. Perhaps this will lead to a wider offering of goods in terms of quality. The good stuff (80% composite for example) for folks that stocked up on credits and mediocre (50% Ubese for example) for those having to do picket missions to earn their credits.

Unless Im totally blind I missed that...can you please clip in the snippet that says specifically that Pets do not count towards mission difficulty?

***EDIT*** Never mind I saw it now, its not in the patch notes but in a explanation from the producer.... Bad Bad Bad Idea.
