Just wondering about the above. Obviously nearly everyone on this board including myself are grinding out FS but I am curious as to how many people we know who have given up due to the XP requirements. I know the intention by the devs was to make Jedi unattainable to many when in fact 3 weeks to grind one branch isn't EXTREMELY hard. So do we all know lots of people who gave up long ago or does it seem that we are destined to see many more Jedi in the future. The road is long for me (unlocked 4 and have ground out 3 branches - so 3 to do!) but I play probably only 8-10 hours a week and have managed 3 branches since Sept 4th.

Started with No free unlocks and now got 5 unlocks.
However only have 2 branches and 2 boxes filled. I take my time and no haven't given up.

I just started to go for Jedi in mid November, got glowy a week later and then started grinding away.
I did unarmed XP to start with and then started to use grenades after I saw the ratios for cashing XP in.
I am now unlocked and trained in almost 2 branches, using this grenade method I hope to get all of my Force XP by the new year.
For those that say that is too fast don't worry, I still have to wait until mid april or so for the phases to roll around to get the proper branches unlocked to train them
Hopefully I'll be doing my Padawan quests this spring

When the publish 10 came in I was not glowy and had just mastered my template TKM/Fencer/Brawler, Ihave now completed the grind with the FS-XP now all saved up, with 5 unlocks and 1 to go and my character is only 4 months old
, tho I've been playing for 6 months now.
The grind was long and boring and I only played at weekends and never once used grenades

2 with all 6 columns unlocked (grinding the damn craftin FS xp now), 5 with 4 columns unlocked. The latter 5 were not glowy so got them all glowy in about 3 weeks from the start of village.
I'll take 3 of the toons to jedi, but honestly all I see that's really worth it is an additional 70 lots and a lot of template funtionality.

Got no free unlocks (in fact, I created a new character 'cause I didn't want to mess up my main). I'm Reflexes 2201 (going 4444) and Combat 2000 (going 4400) with a long road ahead, but I'll get there eventually.

Iam still grinding away, I've unlocked 5 but have only filled 4. Working on filling the tree for the next phase and will unlock in phase 3. It's kinda boring but easy at the same time, NOT using grenades that's really boring. Just my 1 elite combat profession, at this point I am actually 1 tree ahead and will finish early in the start of phase 3
. Then the real long boring grind begins as I start the path to jedi.

See what people don't realize is that it can be done for the person who hates grinding and isn't on much. All you need to make sure to do is unlock the branches. It takes little time to do except the combat phase 3 takes about an hr. Anyways if you hate grinding you are obviouslly going to hunt still etc. or craft or use meds so when you cap out just convert them when you max out. Yes it will take a lot longer but it is stuff you do already so it is like a free gift when you are done. If you want your jedi bad and will grind just remember that you have 3 weeks per phase. It is good if you can to have one full branch banked so you can finish the 6th right away. Anyways have fun with it. Don't burn yourself out. 3 weeks is plenty of time even if you only play 1-2 hrs a day let's say. Or even 10 hrs a week. Just do the tricks everyone does. Use the nades to max out combat and max out your reg profession. You can probably do that in 2 hrs or 3 if you want to go slow and get side tracked. That is 130k xp per time. If you are going to do the healing route then see if you can find someone or an alt to duel, beat, death blow, rez then wash and rinse. People are capping out med xp very fast that way. As for other professions i dunno how they grind but i am sure you do if you are that profession. But if someone wanted jedi very bad and is grinding grinding grinding then i can see why they are giving up on it. I am not going to lie it is long and hard but if you have fun with it then it goes fast. Hell i look back now and am like wow that wasnt too bad. I had fun with it.
