Thread: Guide to Whip's phase 2 quest

Before you start, get novice scout, have camps ready to go. I myself didn't need them, but others have reported that they can be used to get rid of hills and trees that block your view to your crates.
Doing this very early or vary late is a good idea. Less people online means there's less chance you'll get mixed up about which is your ship.
Buy lots of tickets in advance. 3 round trips from corellia to endor, 3 round trip tickets from dath to corellia plus one more to get to dath to start the mission.
Use your map (control-m) to locate the wreckage.
Don't panic if there's nothing at your waypoint. That's SUPPOSED to happen. Just circle around 250m from the waypoint and you should find it. I read about people who went as far as 1000m and found an empty ship. It wasn't thiers but still freaked out.
Don't panic if you find an empty ship. It takes time for the sith to spawn, and a lot of people are doing the quest so you may have run into some one else's ship. You'll know when you found your ship becuase you'll get a quest update.
If something is wrong and you know you're at the right ship (you got the journal update) but your crate is in a tree or hill, don't panic. Set a camp near the obsticle and that may work to uncover it for you. Try killing any random lairs around your ship.
You don't have to kill the sith if you don't want to. I did at first, but I noticed that the supplies spawned before the sith. Grab it and run if you're in a hurry.
The supplies are laying on the group next to the ship, they arn't in a container.
Doing this in one buff session is possible, but plan on getting rebuffed once.
One final thing. After completing the quest, I noticed that I still had a crate of supplies in my inventory. If you absolutely can't get your crate because it's in a hill or something, ask friends and guildies and see if they have one left over.

If it wsa tradable, it would solve my problem, I would pay 100k for one right now, just need last one!

I went out there and my ship wasnt there but it updated my journal and said to get the supply crates, but there was no ship anywhere. I thought it was a bug so I left Endor and it also stole my waypoint when it updated my journal, so....how do I get my supplies now?

similar thing happenned to me. not long after I arrived at the wp I got a message saying the quest was complete and that I should return to the quest giver. I never saw a ship, a crate, a sith, or anything at all. It also deleted my wp when it told me I "finished" the quest so I've no point of reference about which to search for this crate.
Do they learn nothing from past bugs with other quests over the year+ this game has been around?? They keep repeating the same ones over and over and over again.

I found the ship, killed all but one of the Sith, and got the Task Completed message that Malitevv mentioned. Unfortunately, that was the "find the ship" part of the quest was completed, not all of the quest. It fooled me into thinking I had done what I came there to do, so I left without even looking for the supplies.
It was very ambiguous, but I wouldn't call that a bug. I'd say it needs some better messages and a way to reset, though.
The crate in the tree thing, on the other hand, sounds buggy to me.

If it at least didn't delete the waypoint until you completed the entire mission, that would have solved a lot of my problems. Now I don't know if the ship totally disappeared when I left the planet, or if it is still there but I can't find it because the waypoint was deleted automatically.

Today, I accepted the Vehicle-Control-Quest from Whip.
He gave me a waypoint at Endor. I trevelled there, but at the location of the waypoint, there was nothing.
First, I thought it a bug.
"Damned Bug, I cursed", destroyed the WP and went back to get a new one. But Whip will not give me a new one. So what to do now?
I cannot finish the quest, and I get no new waypoint.
I really hate this!

Ive noticed that if u get killed (cloned) u fail the mission and the bug disapears (if u dont find the ship...). It happened to me the first time I make it. I went back to whips and he gaves me a new wp.

Those of you that lose your waypoints.....
Why don't you just mail them to yourself, that way if they disappear you still have them somewhere....

Back in Phase 1, I had Whips quest kinda bug out on me a few times. Under a friends suggestion, he incapped me which made me "fail" the mission, thus allowing me to restart. Haven't been back to the village since....Might work for Phase 2?
